11:54 I'm actually not surprised we don't see finite actions more often, because we _do_ see it often; most Eurogames nowadays truncate their lengths to a fixed number of rounds, usually amounting to 20-30 turns/actions per players. Sadly, many of them feel artificially cut short to prevent them from overstaying their welcome were they to naturally end with variable lengths. The genius of Bus' action count comes from allowing players to take more actions per round, but the total stays the same, thus getting the advantages of both variable length and finite actions. Plus, subsequent actions in a round become weaker, which adds to the tension of "rushing more actions now vs waiting for efficiency"

It was +50 percent more cost roughtly and the bottom line is if you bought this game from Mythic it is 410 for the game + deluxe + the 6 boxes (season 1-5, alt) but you don't get Zero and if you could get Zero and all the other Extra things, all of them that would ber 325 so you are spending 735 + 40 shipping that is 775 + if you have to pay VAT, but they have a 10 percent off 'new' account code and some 50 dollar deal but you must spend 150 on 6 siege but if you do to get the code you wont' get the Bundle deal so that makes little sense to me. Either way as a backer you'd normally get a good deal and with how it all worked out you got the same deal as if you bought the game plus all the extra stuff at full retail, but then you can't get all the extra stuff right now, its Out of Stock, but then like Cardboard Hunter said there are other options like he found his own case, and there are plano boxes too, but you can get this game. What ticked me off was charging 128 dollars to give me a Map Pack 3 which had a 35 value and if you buy their Bunlde you get 'free'. Plus I paid 121 shipping and they'll charge you 40 on the webstore. It is like going to get something at the store and they say 'ok' and you pay and then they square kick you in the Sack. You got that thing you wanted to get, but you also got Nutkicked hard. I like Mythic Games, and part of the this was their own bad choices, but if they want to come back, they need to fullfill webstore orders and when they do another kickstarter they need to offer 6 Seige backers something like a credit. If they get ahead that is. One day they need a find a way to pay the value forward. Also for those who bought Solomon Kane second printing from the webstore and didn't get the game. That was an even more kick in the Sack. I almost did that. I passed on the first kickstarter as I didn't get the game. I thought 'do I need a game with peasants and pilgrim stuff'. I was clueless and an idiot. I should have backed it, as it as like 200 plus 110 or something like that so for like 378 with shipping you get all that (I think that was roughtly the cost and i'm guessing based on the original pledge cost and guestimate of shipping). Later it was like 600 dollars from the webstore for a second printing. I love second printings but at the time I just couldn't afford or justify it, as i could do it, but it would have been all extra money so I didn't. I passed a second time but later I learned I dodged another bullet. I am now glad I was cheap and poor at the time. It also wasn't nearly as good of a deal. In the end, I have all the pledges form Mythic I backed minus they have not fulfilled Rise of the Necromancers and I don't wnat a refund. I want that game printed. I also haven't gotten Hel the Last Saga but I know that I will get it eventually via CMON, at least a base pledge plus all those stretch goals. I paid like 248 (i think) for Hel the last saga with shipping and all the add ons so a base pledge with lots of stretch goals I'd say compensates me and i might sell that pledge, but then again I might not. I backed for 1 dollar Monsterpocalypse and didn't complete the pledge manager. Glad I didn't. I dodged another bullet. I didn't at the time as I thought I could get this OR i can just buy the actual miniature battle game of the same type. I passed on Anastyr, a third bullet I dodged. I am NEON doing Bullet Time. Lots of bullets dodged. I got hit by 6 Siege thought, Man down Man Down, but I had a MediPack and got healed up, surviving.

Yep, this game cost a fortune and it's worth every cent. IMHO easily the best tactical skirmish game of all time and probably the best wargame of all time.

Seems like a fun game! Always wished I had the time/scope for lifestyle games; Guardians of Atlantis II is one I've always wanted to try out. The whole Mythic Games thing really sucks, but I'm glad people are still able to find enjoyment from their creations.

Shouldn't you compare it to Kill Team instead of 40k?

Technically LOS of an operator is 360 degrees while overwatch is determine the arc for reacting to your opponent. So if a hidden operator moves behind you while you are overwatching the front, the hidden operator is immediately revealed but you don't react to them since they are outside your overwatching arc. Only reason why I mention this is some players think overwatching means your LOS is limited to just in front of you which isn't true. While overwatching you still have 360 degree LOS but will only react to your opponent when they enter the front half of your LOS circle.

It would be super cool if you did a playthrough video. 🚌
