Yeah I went through this last time I was looking for an apartment earlier this year. I basically gave up and just built a cabin in the woods and my brother-in-law's land.

It sure would be nice if the people at TH-cam would clue into this clip. Last week I got a notification a comment of mine had been removed due to it being harassment and I have no clue what they're talking about - I went through my recent comments and couldn't think of anything that would constitute harassment. I wrote and asked them what I had said since the notice had threatened to ban me if I did it again. No answer, not even a no. How can I avoid doing it again if I don't have the slightest clue what I did?

Another red flag is “Our employees are our greatest asset.” I worked for a pipeline company, and they were constantly telling us that. I stood up in a meeting and asked if they would sell their gas wells. They said no, why would we do that. I asked if they would sell their compressor stations. Again, they said no, not seeing where I was going. I asked if they’d sell the pipeline. Of course, they said no. Then I asked, then why have you just laid off 2000 of your greatest assets? Never believe anything they say.

I had a manager who gave me a bad review because he said I was late every day, which was a lie because I came in according to my schedule. He didn’t realize that I started work at 8 AM and got off at 4 PM. The dummy thought that I worked 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. If you are a manager, be aware of the employees schedules… That is your job.

The audacity of asking ANYONE to drop a second job that isn't interfering with their work at yours is just... ridiculous.

I think my response would be: "What you call 'for the sake of trying to prevent conflict', I call 'abject cowardice'".

I love this clip for the people who want to protect people trying to start sh*t and come at people with lies but don't want to come forward, but also want to try to protect them and plant evidence and lie to make there case real. If you don't want to come forward with the person telling lies, then step the hell off because we are done here!

Actually got fired from my student job back in high school like this. My boss called me after work and said someone claimed I had been throwing things and refusing to do my job (obviously I did none of that), and I got fired right there on the phone. My boss never told me who was saying that and refused to have a conversation between the 3 of us, because of "confidentiality" 🤡 Hated the job anyway, so I didn't fight it much

not knowing the circumstances that led up to this, veronica is a bit rude interpreting, let the other person speak then ask what was the problem? if she wont answer then say I cant fix something I dont know is broken. we all get defensive sometimes for various reasons many times we get tired of being treated as no account, I was raised in a household where I had to defend myself, it did not good just letting the other siblings speak badly of me or causing a unfair situation. it is a bad habit to have to be defensive but as I have aged I get tot he point believe what you want or just ignore or say nothing and let the other person say what theyw ant because I dont care anymore. i have a different guage to go by then someones opinon which may or may not be true.

My boss put an anon box for feedback. As he was away on a 6 week sabbatical I opened the box to find one person posted nasty stuff about me, mostly I thought everything is a joke. I said nothing, not even I had seen the comment. I advertised a management position, which required a good technical knowledge of the job, and the same person applied. I did a half day training session on so candidates or those thinking of applying would understand what was required. This applicant withdrew after the training saying “I had no idea managers had to have such a level of knowledge.” Her attitude changed and was less gobby after that.

I always had a policy as a manager not to bring me complaints that you weren’t willing to stand behind. The only time that was allowed was if I heard the same issue with multiple people or I directly observed the negative interaction. I explained that it isn’t fair to be told to fix something that you don’t know specifically what it is. I likened it to sending out the fire department to drive all around to find a fire or accident.

The manager and the accuser downvoted this video 😆

Veronica’s job is at risk no matter how good she it. A weak managers way of dealing with this is to find a fabricated reason to fire her. Ever been what you think is a skilled employee but you were included in reduction layoffs? Reduction layoffs are dual purpose. To reduce cost and flush undesired employees. Ever notice the layoffs are often followed by entry level hirings? “Undesirable” means people the management find difficult, older, higher paid employees with more PTO, under-performers who aren’t bad enough to fire out-right, personalities that don’t fit in and similar. If this happens to you and they magically call you back, it may be because you were a good performer but were getting paid too much in their eyes. But later they figured out that the entry level people were not getting the job done. Suddenly you are worth your salary. . I’ve also found this is exactly how many lady bosses respond. The video nailed it. Problem is the lady boss is often more insecure than men bosses. This can lead to a passive aggressive over reaction later. I’ve been on all sides of this over the years. There, you now know the truth Remember the “Golden rule”. He with the gold makes the rules!
