Some of the metrics are easy but right now im running in to the issue of renters leaving me 5 star reviews, in the verbatim praise how clean the car was and ran but don’t rate the maintenance and cleanliness portion so it hurts you there. You get a couple of those it can really tank you. If you look at my stats I’m 5 star rated on every category but when I look at my performance for all start host I’m at 77.7% maintenance just because rents are scoring all categories. Seems like the rating system isn’t an actual reflection of the car and host

A guest not rating should absolutely not count as a 0 star.. A guest who had a bad experience will certainly leave a negative review. That really annoys me.

I think Turo has always considered themselves more “data driven” than other car sharing platforms, which has brought them a lot of success in the past. My guess is that Turo’s leadership is leaning too much into the data and going against what logically makes sense. Letting the data be the gospel rather than a tool, as it should be for businesses of all sizes. I’d be really surprised if they don’t walk this back in Q1 or Q2 2025.

I searched Google to learn why the "Find My" app was so sluggish and having trouble keeping up with where my Wife and kids are. I then saw this tracker as an "upgrade". But it seems this tracker also may have issues with keeping up and keeping track. So here I am. Does it work better than the app FIND MY or not?

Now if you want to get TURO car in airport it’s not possible, you need to drive 30 minutes on bus/taxi to specific parking lot, pay for parking around 25$ in and out and you paying crazy fees to Turo and that’s why host hospitality is went so much down so you need to take 150 pictures if you renting on Turo because Hosts most likely will charge a ton of money for same scratch even you didn’t do anything to car. Do forget to pay parking ticket on your way back to airport. So potentially you are going pay not 30$ a day, it’s going to be 150$ per day. So, no, thank you Im moving back to Avis and Hertz.

Great point with the undercarriage and glass shots, it's very important. And just my opinion, but that G needs a matching rear mounted and facing black spare wheel. I'd see if the guy you cohost with would spring for a replica wheel.
