Vida needs .NET Framework to be installed. You can install it via the Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off It will take a few minutes to download and install. After the installation is done, reboot the system before you continue. After the reboot, check for updates in Windows Update and make sure your Windows installation is up-to-date

If you are done installing Windows, you need to install or update the drivers on your computer. In Oracle VM VirtualBox you can install the drivers by clicking: "Devices" in the top-window of your VM then choose "insert Guest Additions CD image..." This will add a 'cd' with the installation files, click VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe to start the installation. Also: Update Windows !

So, today I tried to read the S60 Polestar 3.0 T6 with Hilton's software. Unfortunately, it is not possible to read the car. I keep getting an error after /- 15 minutes. Unfortunately I can't get any further with the logs, it just says: "2022/03/214:33:44:9241: Connected comm tool DiCE-206751 (SETEK)" [edit] Apparently this problem is due to the Heico ECU that was installed in my S60 Polestar. ...

Het eerste deurpaneel is origineel, de tweede is behandeld met GroundZero Doorkit Pro. Op film is het altijd moeilijk om duidelijk verschil te laten horen, maar het is toch redelijk gelukt. Het behandelde paneel klinkt dof, de andere klinkt schel. Dit komt je geluid ten goede omdat het paneel (en de hele deur) minder zal trillen en kraken.

De komende dagen staat de C70 bij een detailing specialist. In de derde video is het verschil echt goed zichtbaar! Eerst zien we een stukje onbehandelde lak waar de krassen weerspiegelen. Daarna is duidelijk te zien hoe glad de lak is na de behandeling. Er zitten wel nog wat putjes in de lak ;-) Maar dat zien we door de vingers voor een Volvo uit 1998

hello, is this the internet virtual vida? What is the difference between virtualbox and classic vida from the CD that is sent when the Dice is bought??
Is it possible to change the language on the Stereo system / dash using the dice and VIDA?
Is the sound quality the same ? Have you tested and see any difference between Bluetooth/cd/ iPod ? I use an iPod with the harman kardon witch I fine way better that the Bluetooth!
Where's the Vida install? All of this is windows programming. How about the Vida specific information. None of this matters without that part.

Als je de instelling voor stoelverandering veranderd of de temperatuur van het klimaat, komt dan het kleine balkje welke normaal onder in beeld staat ook even tevoorschijn zodat je kan zien op welke temperatuur je m zet?
Nee dat is niet het geval. Je kunt switchen tussen het Android beeld en het originele Volvo beeld. Je kunt wel alles 'blind' bedienen, alles werkt (je kunt het niet zien).

Zelf ingebouwd. Installatie viel mee, het display moet los, dat is wel even werk. Vooral de rand om het display is vervelend los te krijgen. Voor de rest heel erg goed te doen 👍🏻

This is awesome. I have the same car (2016) and have done all the same intake stuff but still need to get DP, wastegate and tune done. Really cool to see some numbers that I can expect. How does it feel compared to stock though? Worth all the time and money when you press the pedal?
The car really feels much faster! Have you ever driven a 'normal' T6? The one with 305hp? The difference between the standard T6 and the Polestar is similar to the stock parts of the Polestar and the full bolt-on. The car is much more aggressive. They are all costly upgrades, but all together they make it a beast!

I don't think so. On the websites that sell these boxes, there is a image of the buttons in your mid-console. You need the internet/globe-logo.

I got Vida working in Installed Win 11, without a VM.
How?
@@madriann Ran the normal installation as on Swedespeed for win10. And just put Edge is compatibility mode IE and added the Vida url in the IE allowed. And it's working perfectly. Let me know if you need the swedespeed link.

Hi , how did you install the main VIDA program ? in the win10/11 environment do need to set the compatibility to windows 7 on the \Install\DVD\Vida_dvdheader\Main\seup.exe ?
Indeed. Right-click the setup.exe file, go to properties, click the compatibility tab and set it to Windows 7.

Hoi Gert-Jan, bij mij was de slang tussen intercooler en turbo los gegaan. Maar controleer ook zeker de stationair regelaar, die kan dit ook veroorzaken
Bedankt voor je reactie!! Het is zonder turbo dus ga de stationair regeling controleren!

Hey there. I saw the 212 doe sale online and wanted to install on my C70, but I am not sure were to put it in the relay box. How did you do it? Is it the box inside the hood or is it in some place else? I've looked in the owner's manual, but it doesn't say.
If i remember correctly, you can find it under the steering wheel, near the paddle(s)
@@daanium1980 hey again. It seems to be there ( just unscrewed some stuff and found a place where you can put relais). Did you do that yourself? Seems rather confusing down there :D

Hi Daan. I've finally gotten around to fitting my Japanese mirrors. But I'm stuck. I dismantled the original ones but the outer plastic frame doesn't fit over the Japanese ones and the rear cover doesn't either. Did you have to order these parts from the dealer as well?
This is so cool, these mirrors are super rare on a (European) C70. I've got all my parts from my local Volvo Dealer.
@@daanium1980 yes. I've got the base units and taken the old.mirrors.off to transfer the outer plastic parts but they don't fit. I can't find the Japanese plastic parts on VIDA and the dealer can't guarantee they're right as there's only one section listed as Japanese and it's the complete units minus trim cover. No other trim cover exists in the database. I'll have to get a second hand set of euro ones and Dremel and glue the Euro covers on I feel. Annoying but worth it.

I got a set for 850. But they are for cars that have the steering wheel on the Right (Wrong ;) ) side of the car. It can be used on a car with the Steering wheel on the LEFT side on the car. But the angle of the mirror will be wrong. It you look at your car the left and right mirror does NOT have the same angle from the car. If you are a good welder you can maybe re-weld them in a better angle and use the org mirror trim cover. They need 12V and 0V also 12V push for IN/OUT. There is a relay and a Switch(only grey , In black it is not available, but you can use a Sunroof/dim switch eg and carefully switch the lable over but it is still in grey. ) that can be ordered. But they are labeled "JP" at Volvo. You can wire them up to fold in/out when you use the Alarm Key Fob and with the switch on the dash.

Hi there, I know this is an old video… I have just ordered a set for my V70 (9484054 and 9484053). Do you remember the wiring for these at all or reference what you needed to do? Is just the last wire that needs positive or negative to complete the circuit?

As shown in the video, Vida works fine in Windows 11, no need to downgrade to Windows 7. Have you tried installing Vida in Windows 11 yourself? Did you get an error message?

Het is een heerlijke wagen. Eerder heb ik een Volvo C70 T5 gehad (ook leuk). Nu een jaartje de S60, mooie snelle wagen en als je een beetje gaat shoppen heb je een mooie voor niet te veel ;-)

@@rikvanderlee6952 ik heb een import ja. In Duitsland was er in 2010/2011 een limited versie door Heico uitgebracht. Daar heb ik #39 van 😎 inmiddels zie je de limited Heico versies ook hier in Nederland aangeboden worden, maar dan wel wat duurder of met hoge km stand.
