I have had 2 of the 6500 ex inverters and 2 6000 xp. The 6500 ex was a wildly bad piece of garbage that I was worried would fry my electronics on any given day. To the point where I bought power stations as a way to condition the power before going to any major electronics. These things would make my compressors on my fridge rattle while not on due to voltage variations. So yeah not good. The 6000 xp is a whole different ball game works flawlessly. Hasn’t given me any issues and just keeps trucking along. So caveat emptor, their new line based on these new inverters are awesome.

@EG4, are you saying that these high frequency inverters are fine for use in starting a 5 ton unit without a soft starter? Any comments on the longevity of your inverter for this use case?

What's with the naming conventions for EG4 inverters? 6000xp, 12000xp, 12k, 18k, Flexboss21.... choose one naming convention please, makes it confusing.

What about battery share? If you have two units in parallel, do you have to parallel the batteries physically or will the 600xp sort that out if connected separately but in parallel via the inverter? 🤔

Not everyone is a solar systems expert. He forgot to explain what the heck CT's are, how they measure current , DC or AC or both, their range and how to hook them up. And for an "unboxing" video he forgot to show the unboxing! It would have been nice to see the unboxing to get some idea how heavy and hard to hang the inverter actually is. But I see questions below go unanswered. Is that indicative of the company?

I installed the 18k pv with one power pro wall mount myself outside next to the main service. It was simple to install and it has worked flawlessly.

How is the noise level and what point (power) does it start to produce noise ?

Hello, I recently installed the eg4 6000xp and I noticed that when it is charging the batteries or powering the loads the fans stay on all the time, is this normal? Because my Solark 8k only turns on the fans based on temperature

I really wish you folks would come out with larger MPPT charge controllers. I don't need any more AC for my house, what I need is more solar production to charge up during the worse days. It sure would be nice to have a 12k, dual mppt to pair up, instead of having to put 4, 3k pv mppt's. Which is the only option within the EG4 lineup.

What is the length of the inverter parallel comm cable?

I do wish you would stop referring to the dip switches as in the up or down position. There's an ON label on the switch so you should refer to the switch as on or off to avoid confusion.

How do I know if my second LL-S battery is communicating with the host? I feel like mine isn't..

This is an excellent demonstration and the Updater seems fantastic. However, for the V2 battery, please see below: You need to load the EG4 LifePower4 V2 Firmware update on to the Updater and send it out to EG4 LifePower4 V2 Customers. Customers pay big money for you excellent products and want them to perform as advertised. Work arounds that bypass the full functions of the battery, battery/inverter capability is not a "fix". Its a downgrade. Please do the right thing by your Customers and NOT send us a embedded link so we can figure out on our own how to fix our brand new battery. Send us the Updater preconfigured. Thank you.

How does the EG4 6000xp handle AC coupling when the load is not needed, say the battery was charging and is now full? Does it adjust the frequency to shut down the AC coupled inverter?

In the video he mentions setting all the dip switches to zero. Are you supposed to set them back after you're done updating?

EG4 needs to be "SLAPPED" for making their EG4-LL series-1 & EG4-LL series-2 & EG4 LiFePower4 V1 & V2 with different BMS protocols & newest EG4 WallMount batteries probably yet another protocol utterly RIDICULOUS !!!

I love 3-phase 208v, that's what I have now. 480v is the best, because most high-power commercial is 480v.
