UL9540 is very important for most installations as the majority of solar systems are installed in jurisdictions that require it. That being said, there's also a lot of places where you can install without it (or maybe just UL9540A, which is battery-specific and encompasses all of our current battery offerings). We have some EG4 users who don't require that certification and want to use a Sol-Ark inverter with our batteries, so this video is strictly a guide for those users! Great product, except that if you call SolArk, they will tell you that if there is a problem that occurs while using the comm cable, YOUR WARRANTEE WILL BE INVALID.

So you don't care if you don't have a UL9540 or a 9540A ?
It is a vital certification, I believe all Sol-Ark batteries are 9540A compliant, and mainly for commercial and industrial applications.
