Like everyone else here, I never thought I'd actually HEAR the sexuality term (or any of them for that matter) being said out loud. No phobia involved.

This is exactly almost one for one happened to me. I asked out this boy when I thought I saw signs. He told me he was straight but we’re still cool as friends, I tried to avoid him almost exactly like Nora(we aren’t like in a friend group but we see each other around a lot). After watching this episode I’m not going to let being heartbroken effect me as hard as it did. Ive had my eyes on him for a very long time it hurts but I’m still young just like Nora’s Mom says two episodes later.

Some people may not like it for some reason but I love the way this was handled. It feels so natural and I almost literally started tearing up when I saw this scene. I came out to my mom and she was cool with it but I wish she reacted more like how Normas mom did.

this scene just makes me wanna cry, both bc it's a sweet scene but also i wanted to see these two get together so bad lmao but i'm still glad it happened, because it feels like every lgbt character's love life manages to be easy, where their crush is also lgbt and likes them too, and it's sweet that they can be happy most of the time but irl it's not so easy, it's nice to see something like this bc it literally never happens, and this show wrote it so well
