Not a mod but better than nothing

Well, like I said, some people might want to have fun instead of doing difficult things. This video just offers them an option. For me, I'd still keep trying and inevitably die on the 2nd last stage in Sim Rally Masters.

@@G.Wee_Rallying you just need more training and definitely start with a rally less demanding then SRM

@@G.Wee_Rallying some years. I had actually played with it quite a bit when it was new, but I had put it aside in preference to GPL. A few years ago I discovered the RSF mod of RBR which is so good that I haven't played anything else since.

​@@G.Wee_Rallyingno offense, but explaining other rally games to diehard RBR fan is useless. They'll somehow come up with "no way, rbr has the best physics. You just have to practice more. End of discussion". Oh man, they just don't understand that some people just want to enjoy to play rally games, no need super difficult physics or installing tons of mods or custom content. And it's even more annoying if the person who says that has never driven a rally car.

Thanks for a more detailed look into the physics. Yes the physics mod does make going more sideways much more reliable and also fixes the wheel spin issues. If u could u should try WRC 10 as well, maybe try for a little while and refund it. The handling is a lot better in that game but the cars are too fast. If WRC G has similar car behaviour to WRC 10 while keeping the feeling of inertia, I think it would hit the sweet spot. Except for RWD though, in WRC 10 RWD feels like AWD for some reason.

Nope, its really dumb and your timings will even be updated. Basically it's free for all cheating in this game.

Ya I agree, its an improvement over WRC 10 though and they said to have recorded real sounds for that game but it's worse than this. Somehow WRC 9 has better sounds if you ask me.

I totally agree man, the sounds are quite lame. Same here, my main complaint is that EA WRC doesnt even have super special stages. They spent so much effort making gimmicks like the car builder and regularity rally that really nobody asked for that they had to cut corners with their stages. It also has very crappy post processing, sunny stages with cockpit cam makes everything outside have too much bloom. As for Seb Loeb Rally Evo, that game is really not commonly played, it does sound like a good alternative to the 3 I mentioned though. Maybe it needs more attention.

What do you mean by doesn't react? The app does not show your inputs? Was it showing before you did the steps? Does it not recalibrate? Can you be more specific? How am I supposed to help you if you just tell me this?

Gravel in real life can be much more compact and isn't just a texture. You can see in real life how overgrown the gravel is becoming and uneven it is on places versus how much more even a tarmac surface would be. Also the reflections of gravel in the real life footage make it more apparent. Stock RBR or even with some reshades you can't get that sort of thing. Tarmac would be much more dull with little reflections.

I'm quote sure they've fixed that already. But it was dumb. The start-line had an issue too where you get a jump start penalty when it wasn't a jump start. And the physics, the wheel spin grip loss is over-exaggerated, springs are too soft and tarmac isn't twitchy enough.

It does have a sound for driving over the gravel and also sliding. I personally use the vanilla ones but RSF RBR has their own more noticeable gravel sounds. It is not as good as most modern games though.

You can only play it online as of now. There was an online rally with it when it came out, I recorded this video using that rally.

My launcher FFB settings are 250 for all surfaces. Steering wheel force feedback is 100%, and in-game force feedback is about 75%. I don't have any issues with the force feedback tbh, I just feel like the game is harder than real life in terms of the responsiveness of the cars to steering. It's extremely difficult to make corrections mid-corner in this game.
