Hello! 3 people might be quite tough. TBH, even 2 people is just nice, but we went without luggage. If we did have luggage, might be a tight squeeze. But there are rooms for 3 people, so if yall are relatively small size, and dont mind small spaces, I think that is fine. haha Hope this helps!

Hello! Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. Tbh, I am for Jen Shangri La Orchard Gateway instead, not the Tanglin one haha. But Orchard Gateway might be more expensive, but location is probably one of the best. If over budget, Oasia would be ideal, if possible get the club room! Really really nice, we actually stayed there haha. For the other 2, location might not be so ideal in my opinion! But did a video for Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay as well, can check it out for your own perspective of it! As for Penang, I have not been there for awhile, but for Langkawi, best to stay along Pantai Cenang, thats the main street. But regardless, you are able to grab to the other side of the island easily. Also did 2 hotel reviews in Langkawi haha. Hopefully in Penang soon! Hope it helps! And Thank you once again!

But for Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay, you mentioned in your review that the location was not good. From the maps I can see that it's right next to Clarke Quay. Is that not a good area? I'm confused which area to stay in :) Also looking at Hilton Garden Inn in Little India and Four Points Sheraton.

Hahahaha lol, I am glad it helps! Grand hyatt is actually opens mid July onwards! Though probably not fully open like restaurants & some facilities maybe. Fully opens probably end of the year perhaps haha

From my recollection, we did not pay a deposit to the hotel! And yes, usually deposits are one time payment and will cancel it if you dont use it after check out!

Both hotels are very budget so both are quite similar. I would prefer hotel 81 dickson as its closer to the shophouses with good food!

hi there! usually she cross-check different booking platforms for price comparison and also add stackable discount codes. agoda tends to have cheaper rates for vietnam hotels. as for this particular stay in Del Rey, our dates were quite flexible (we stayed in HN for 3 weeks in total) so that might have helped in choosing which dates with lower prices too! :)

Sounds like you were hoping for a 5-star breakfast and a pool with a view! Maybe next time, aim for a hotel that serves breakfast in bed! hahaha

hi there! you can just DM them via their facebook page and ask for the rates during your intended stay! otherwise most hotels also have a 'Zalo' contact number (vietnamese preferred app) so you can text them too - that is if you want to download the app haha! however i'm not sure if the rates will be different if you are not a local/speak vietnamese. hope it helps!

You can consider looking at Jen Hotel Orchard Gateway, though sometimes the price can also be over budget, so it depends on which platform you are booking it with! We found that Trip.com has the. cheapest rates among all the platforms. Alternatively, you can consider Yotel but rooms are on the smaller end! Hope this helps! Depends on which room you are getting! But in terms of location, I would say its rather ideal!

Hey there, there are various room types for this as well. You might have seen the rooms at the corner instead which has slightly bigger balcony. In terms of accessibility, I think its alright for an elderly couple, but access to trains might be a bit of a hassle. And thank you for the support, my wife thanks yall too! And all prices not specifically mentioned are priced in SGD. But do take note that this video was shot 2-3 years back so prices have definitely changed. Hi there, thank you for the support! Glad the review has helped you a bit haha. In terms of the hotels mentioned, probably La Siesta Hang Be (we did a review before) or Solaria Old Quarter (never stayed before)! Both are better at exploring Hanoi's food & culture. Lotte Hotel is a bit far off, will have to take a taxi to explore the main parts. Alternatively, you can consider La Sinfonia Del Rey, price ranges similar to La Siesta Hang Be, and we have stayed & done a review of it, and the service was probably the best we had in our many visits to Hanoi. Just take note the roads along the main lake (Hoan Kiem Lake), will close on Friday Nights & Weekends so taxis to & fro these 3 hotels might be a problem. Also, the temperature in Hanoi in October is great (according to my Hanoian wife), but may rain too. lol. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask anything else :D
