Just some good friends trying to fund our firearm and fishing addictions.
The Bilson Arms Forward Charging Pistol (9mm) could be the best self-defense firearm available.
Bilson's pistol is available in three different calibers: .223 Wylde, 300 Blackout, and 9mm. The model we have is chambered in 9mm, featuring a 12.5-inch barrel with a direct impingement gas system. Consider if this is the right choice for you and your family.

I bought the Mete SFT Pro that has the same trigger as the TTI, and then had the barrel ported and for way less than the cost of TTI. Runs like a dream!
Y'all sound like you live close to Canada. Possibly Minnesota. 😆 Hosers! 😂
I actually only had an issue with meocanik red dot and they sent a new one within 4 or 5 days. I never had an issue with the actual gun yet
💀🤣
I love caniks I'm not buying no new firearms. I rather buy older models eat to many problems with the new ones
Pulled mine apart to check for wear on the firing pin. Looks great after about 300 rounds. No issues and never had an issue with mine.
The crotch shot 😂😂

850 at a gun show
You guys should at least have tried the light recoil spring! Might have shot even better. A 15 lb in a Rival poly frame helps alot. Considering that is close to a rival with a comp, the spring might be sweet. Nice video, thank you!
Thanks we will do a short with the light spring, I didn’t think of that.
Hard pass only fudds gold plate their guns😂😂😂
The warranty shop didn't email me when they returned it and I was just lucky that I was home.
Same here
Who in their right mind would spend $1,300 for a 1911 with a dovetail and long irons??😂😂
Gun is supposedly an old competition gun from the 1940’s
Someone bored with a lot of money 😂
So I had all the issues with mine. I sent it in, got it back with the new spring and striker. Ran about 400-500 rounds through it with no issue, then suddenly the issues returned. I sent it back in again and they replaced the entire gun (it’s their policy if you send a gun in twice for the same issue). With the brand new replacement one I had 2 failure to return to battery in the first mag, but since then it’s been ok… so far. I’m 650 rounds in, running 3 different brands and a mix of 124 and 115. Gonna get past 1000 rounds this week for sure.
It would be a help to all of us owning these that canik let us know what's going on. Possibly a ammunition choice problem?
Homer also changed his grip on the heavy spring.
We didn’t notice I will check it out
I did not notice that but I’ll keep an eye on it
It’s made in Turkey way cheaper to manufacture. Really should retail no more than 729
What monocular are you using?
It is the Vortex Solo. It’s a great little tool.
How can I get one ??
If you can scan the QR code it will take you to their website
bad stance and holding of weapon
Thanks for the constructive criticism. What tips do you have so we can fix it?
Still waiting for the TTI to be launched in South Africa......Can one assume that the issue of not returning to battery has been fully resolved ?
I hope it has I’m starting to hear of more guns working fine
I got the first one that came into my local gun store. I had issues with it right away. Yes I cleaned it to get the factory grease off first, no my grip was not the issue. I tried many different brands, both 115 and 124 and the issue was constant. I sent it in for repairs and like many others they replaced the spring and striker. Ran about 400 rounds through it after that with no issues. The day I finally took it out to show it off to some friends at the range all the issues started again. I noticed the bullets were damaged like they were slamming into the feed ramp or top of the barrel. The feed ramp also looked damaged to me. I sent it in again, and just yesterday I found out canik replaced the entire gun for me. The feed ramp looks normal now. I havent taken it out to the range yet, im gonna try to break it in sunday and see if this one shoots any better. Im hoping the first batch that came out was not built to spec or something and the newer ones are better. If not im gonna try and get a refund on this thing.
Thanks for the reply I will keep an eye out for reoccurring problems
Lol, I wish the piece of crap they sent out just needed a spring swap. Not even close, even their gunsmiths couldn't fix it. Took them like 3 months to finally get out a replacement, and it still has light strikes. This gun is a meme next to a custom CZ Shadow 2. I did confirm later in your video you got the green tab newer spring, not the painted one that makes a mess.
I don’t mean an issue taking spring out. The paint or ink or whatever they used to signify the heavier spring, that green color at the end, comes off and spreads around the innards of the gun.
Damn I haven’t noticed it yet thanks for the heads up
@@LeadslingerOutdoors You probably got one with the green tab on top. I believe what is going on is they are now manufacturing the green springs to deal with all the defective models they sold people (a LOT of people, which they deny, but is easy to prove due to mass Reddit/TH-cam folk with the same issues). At first they were painting the tip of the spring green (I have 4 springs, lol) and that includes two of the green ones, one painted which made a mess, and one where the green is like a polymer or whatever.
@@LeadslingerOutdoors I have an early Rival -S and after about 500-600 rnds and it started 3-4 malfunctions every mag and sent it out it went to a shop in Louisiana and it was hard to decipher the paperwork but they changed my barrel and locking block and it's runs great now probably 1000 rounds thru since its been back from warranty
And wait till you take gun apart the green in spring breaks off and goes everywhere
We had no problems taking the green spring out
@@LeadslingerOutdoors Some of the springs they send out are marked green, others are like painted green. The painted ones make a damn mess. The other ones don't. I know because I had to send my dad's in TWICE. Century Arms lost my business forever, and that was with the result of a functional replacement due to how poorly they handled things and the law they broke in the process.
Guys, great channel but please invest in lapel mics. Your audio is terrible and almost impossible to hear.
What part of the video could you not hear? Sounds good to me but we do plan on getting better mics
Maybe get a better phone to hear, the video and audio is excellent
Its the extractor spring you need to trim it down one and a half to two coils
The world is yours
I bought one and got about 400 rounds through it before it started doing what I have seen on other videos, just bought 3 different ammo brands, cleaned it, etc, and will try tomorrow to see if it is any different.
Let us know how it goes and we should have another video when the gun gets back from Canik
Picked one up last week. I shot 500 rounds using blazer ammunition and had no issues, fails, jams etc. I feel bad you had a bad experience. Maybe you just had a lemon that was missed during QC.
Yes, there were a lot that got missed but hopefully the issue has been resolved.

I was thinking a crab as well

😂
What's occurring is failure to return to battery. Sometimes so slight, that you can barely tell the slide is not in full battery. I field-stripped mine. I noticed the polymer was slightly too high at the rear of the frame, near/above the beavertail area. I used a fine nail file and lightly sanded down the polymer just a small amount. I then felt the entire frame looking for raised areas, and rough areas on the black polymer. When I found them, I very lightly sanded them as well. Cleaned, lubed and re-assembled. 1,000 rounds later, not a single failure with 18 or 21-round factory mags.
I dislike how most canik grip has a gap on the back side
Yes, we didn’t like it either
Designed that way to lower the imprint profile, you can always just use the 12 round since it’s such a problem. 👶 😔 😂
Awesome video!
Great job liz.
I own a canik rival that I have had no issues at all . But I was going to buy a combat version, but not now !!! Maybe not at all , Canik has a problem it's time to stand up and accept your responsibility!!!
Love the look!
