Compatibility, reliability, durability, availability and track record
Shadow Systems do look cool but expensive for what they are and have absolutely seen them malfunction more than most Glocks

Have a tradition series MR920 (Texas Star Cerakote) and it's a nice little glock 19 clone.
Tradition series need a trigger/sight swap and the guide rod is a bit squeeky but otherwise it runs well.
Nice we love Shadow Systems we have 4 right now. Can't wait for the CR920XP.
@@LeadslingerOutdoors I've had my eyes on their XR920/DR920 war poets and comped P models.
Plan to get one and swap out the trigger for a Timney Alpha since that trigger is flawless in my G17 Gen5.
For the price, I have yet to find a glock or glock clone that will beat it out of the box. I thought the TTI Combat would. Not even close, lol - but I'll wait on one that isn't defective for a final ruling on that.
Definitely like the SS brand, their machine stippling/texture is a great pattern to follow when running Taron grips.
That's pretty much what I did with my G17, just carefully copied it with a far more aggressive grip-tape style grip and it's no doubt the better feeling gun between the two.
Honestly, I still prefer the G17 over the CZ, but the CZ is brand new and completely unmodified. The glock is just lighter and has way more control.
That said, the CZ is obviously a higher-end and better-machined gun. Both greats, just different styles.
You guys need red dot training. Red dot you stay target focus and you super impose the dot where you are staring at. The shots going high and left or right is from watching your dot on recoil and not remaining target focus. The shots going low left or right is from your dominant hand putting to much input into the weapon and your support hand not remaining firm on. the gun.
Well i think you guys proved dot and comps are better than no dot and comps. But go with SS anyways.

XR920 has same grip size as the 17. MR920 is more like the G19, which is shorter than the G17. But you probably already knew all this. Thanks for vid.

I’m not so sure I would say it can’t be the ammo for the one light strike. I absolutely have gotten just one bad primer before in name brand ammo. To which gun is better is totally based on the shooter. But it looks like yall definitely need to practice a bit more. You shouldn’t be pulling any shots at 15 yards or even 20 yards when you have that big of an A-Zone to hit. You guys are way too comfortable throwing shots and just saying eh whatever it was me slapping the trigger or that was my cold first shot of the day. Those aren’t very good excuses especially in Leo or armed security work. Work on the fundamentals, when you do the fundamentals well and consistent you won’t be throwing shots nearly as much. Saying that shadow systems and caniks are race guns also I’m not sure Is completely accurate. Definitely canik has some race driven guns but I see dudes with stock glocks shooting matches and winning. It all comes down to the shooter. I’m really not trying to talk down on the video or y’all’s shooting but I learned after my 15 years of shooting pistols that if u do the fundamentals well you’re pretty proficient with most pistols you shoot. Dudes you compared a Glock 17 with iron sights versus a Shadow Systems that had a red dot and a compensator on it. Really? Ill take the 17 all day and twice on Sunday. Now mill out the 17 for a red dot and equipped it with a radian ram jet and after burner barrel and comp and it will smoke the shadow systems all fucking day.
Thanks for commenting and believe me we knew people would say something due to the SS having a dot and comp. But that's all we had at the time, and you must be reading our minds because we have a G17 that's being dressed up with the afterburner and ramjet.
