Really wish the store actually closed at 6 instead of like An hour or 30 minutes before closure.

There were 8 sears left when I search in Google

It's really sad how what was a very nice nostalgic sears became a very sad store, I will deeply miss this sears :(

Sad to see this store close its doors for the last time. This place was not an always Sears store. Wonder if the Sears signs will be removed or still hang on?

There may be a last goodbye announcement in every Sears department store when the retailer goes out of business entirely which basically will eventually

It was all over America, every city from Maine to California. Everyone shopped there. TV's, Electronics, Cell Phones and appliances. Then in 2007 they went bankrupt. The largest electronics/appliance store in the past 10 years.... gone. I kept the video of one employee who posted here to TH-cam, the last day in his store. That store was called.... Circuit City. That was the start of the 2007 recession. Fair bet he's still here on YooBoob. Somewhere. I'll just bet you sir he's starting to bite his nails again!

It’s always amazing how these moronic store employees will all of the sudden and out of the blue be worried about store policy and other nonsense.Maybe if they did the job they were hired for (customer service) they wouldn’t be looking for a new job.Honestly how many times have ANY of these employees approached you to ask if you needed any assistance finding something or if they can answer your questions?Never,they’re only interested in imposing their will on you and scolding their customers.Screw these idiots.

Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila that opened in 1994 will close on Dec. 15. Employees were told last week.

Sad! I remember one at Shoreline

I remember 30 years ago when they first opened this Sears, which they had moved from their Rainier Avenue location in Renton. It was a *beautiful* store, and a fun place to be, along with the rest of Southcenter Mall in Tukwila

At least their online store will still be open.

By March 2018 this Sears and the other 5 in Washington State was put up for sale because the retailer was losing money and debt was high

I wonder if someone is buying the lease because it is closing towards the end of the year. We will just have to see.

I once rang a bell around the beginning of the year 2023 due to the mattress buying thing.

Got a bed set from there and it’s not great quality for sure… it works and looks decent but I wouldn’t go back.

This a Trump 2.0 closure - they waited until election results came in to send out their WARN Act paperwork. 85% of furniture is imported. Trump Tariffs will kill the furniture industry. American Freight actually had decent pricing - bought a Queen Sleigh bed there that lasted for YEARS!

American Freight is going out of business so all stores, including this one, are closing. Parent company Franchise Group filed for bankruptcy last month

Cascadian Co just went out of business. The Southcenter location on floor 2 right outside of F&N/Sears was originally a Wet Seal. Store has been sitting vacant ever since it closed down this year

Yeah, like, the last time I was there, that welding was fresh (around 2020), but whoever did the welding, did a crap job on it.
