I recently travelled on EVA AIR from JFK to Taipei and I must say I trulyyyy enjoyed the service on this flight!! The Air hostesses were superb. They managed all passengers from start to end wih their politeness and experience. The food was delicious!! The pilots I must thank for flying us safely to our destination because this was no short flight. Big up to EVA AIR Top notch service 😊🤗👏

I just completed a return LHR - BKK Eva Air flight in a 777 in Economy - the seats are the best economy seats I have experienced in 30 years of travel - enough space for a 185cm person like me - and the in flight service is exemplary - highest praise for Eva

I saw this place in a walking tour video, it was the only restaurant in the area with a long line outside and got me super curious.

Learn to pan your phone slower. It is not comfortable watching your vlog if you move haphazardly.

Great review thank you the comparison is just what i needed after a very uncomfortable outward journey (lhr bkk) in economy.I am looking to hopefully upgrade on my return trip so this review is a great help. My latest trip was extremely unpleasant the narrow seats 17 inches are bearable until the person in front decides to recline his seat all the way. I hadn.t previously experienced this on my other flights(lhr bkk lhr) and do not wish a repeat. Keep up the good work

There is actually a two-hour connection from this flight towards Manila Philippines SQ918 and Perth Western Australia. Both places are 13hrs ahead of EWR but same time as Singapore

The only "negative" aspect is, that the runway is only about 1500m long to scale I believe!

Does the arm rest without the table go up?

The airline wants to make the premium economy passengers envious of the business class. Hope to fly this route soon. Looks like the most comfortable way and the best route for me. Don’t like the departure or arrival times in Newark though.

I flew in EVA Air's premium economy class many times. It's a great product with nice seating, food and service. The only negative side is their seats is up to discretion of passenger in front of you. If the passenger reclines all the way back, it can be an unpleasant experience unless you ask them to move up their seat a bit. In recent years I've flown on China Airlines premium economy class and their seats have a "hard shell" design where the seat recline will not affect passenger directly behind. But some passengers don't like the hard shell design finding it uncomfortable. So it's entirely up to you which airline you prefer. I find China Airlines also offers a competitive product compared to EVA Air and their fares are cheaper.

If you're six feet tall like me or taller, I'd go with the Premium Economy seat.

Brilliant trip report! The food looked delicious, and the seat was quite comfortable. Also, IFE screen was large. It's interesting to know that this plane only has premium economy and business class.
