OMG! I went to this exact same place. We were headed to Kobe from Tokyo but we saw a few people eating this and went on the adventure to find it. Tens of nice people helped us navigate the maze of Osaka airport, we left our luggage’s by a table, and rushed to get the cakes! We ended up buying ten and eating them all savouring them throughout the rest of our trip to lovely japan. I wish we had something equally as good in LA :) thanks for sharing brought back so much memories 😊

We haven't got the chance to try out Uncle Tetsu. But Rikuro can only be found in Osaka....and Uncle Tetsu has branches around the world. We love how fluffy it is. Will keep in mind about the matcha one from Uncle Tetsu. Hehe...can find that in major cities..but usually they have a long queue too, right?

yes, but this shop is only found in Osaka. There are similar bakery outside of Japan but not Rikuro's.
