Did any variation of the 92 have a squared trigger guard like the 96 or S&W 645. I always liked those guards better than the rounded ones. Love you videos, please keep going. Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are equally Christmas movies....one just came out before the other.😉

There were many Iconic guns in the Dirty Harry movies like Walther P38, Winchester Model 70 in .458 Magnum, Arisaka Type 2 Takedown rifle, MP40 and Clints beautiful AMP .44 Automag. But the most iconic guns in my opinion were the S&W M29 and the 4" Colt Python revolvers used by the villain highway patrol motorcycle cops. One of these must still be in the wrecked 71' Ford LTD that Lt. Briggs blew up with.

What up with the plasma rifle in the 40 watt range? Would its heads up display not have scanned every item there? Seems to me it would not have asked this Q because it would already know. Also the laser scope? It should have this already installed in its ocular program and not need it? Unless the travel/fold space/worm hole jarred its circuits? Quaser or gamma blasts as it traversed time. Reece seemed like he got his A$$ cooked but his hair stayed cool probably found some radiated Vidal Sassoon that saved his skull hairs🎉

Civilians can own grenade launchers here in the US. You just have to get extor- i mean pay a $200 "tax stamp." (even though it's illegal to tax a right and is against the 2nd ammendment) All because it's a NFA item and the AFT considers it a "Destructive device." Other than that its just like buying a firearm. The 4473 and NICS along with however much the 203, which is a little more than $2,000. In all it'll be more like $2,500 because nothing like getting double taxed on something you just fukin payed taxes on! Repeal NFA Abolish ATF

Apparently the Hollywood armorers like using the 9mm 1911s because they work better with blanks? I could be wrong, but I remember in Way of the Gun the 1911s in that movie were also 9mm and Larry Vickers was reviewing the guns/gun play and made a comment to that affect.

Honest patina is not a bad thing for a classic firearm often times just like antiques people tend ruin an original finish in an attempt to "clean" an item, certified restoration exist for certain reasons other than that a good firearm should be allowed to age naturally 👌

Technically the military version was the M9 and it's variants wasn't it, either way it was and still is a beautiful gun. Personally I preferred the handling and feel of the Taurus PT92 which as you'll probably know was just the Brazilian made version (same plans and factory) of the Beretta. What’s with the Europeans and their damn heel mag release? That one has always befuddled me because anyone with a pair of hands and a semi functional brain could tell that putting the mag release down there make no sense because you need both hands to operate it.

    • @hollywoodguns

When the Beretta 92FS was released it looked identical to the 92F and M9 variant. The 92FS at some point a fair amount of years later had some upgrades done to it, I guess if you can call them that. The dust cover area right beneath the recoil spring and guide rod for whatever reason got slanted down or up whichever way you want to look at it. I assume it was done in an attempt to streamline the gun and make it look better, and or it could make for easier holstering but I doubt that was the reason. Then they recessed the upper area of the grip under the beaver tail to allow people with smaller hands to be able to get a better grip and have less distance for trigger reach. I personally don't really care for how the 92FS dust cover area looks as I'm more accustomed to the original look that originally got me into the Beretta 92 platform thanks to Die Hard and Lethal Weapon and also having a perfect replica water pistol at the time in my youth, lol. The Mec-Gar magazines are 18 rounds not 17, but I believe at some point like over 15 years ago they were selling the 17 round magazines. Back in the mid to later 90's I remember seeing 17 round Beretta 92 magazines listed in gun magazines and I think they were made by Mec-Gar or possibly some other after market company.
