    You can also Create your own plug-in folder and Add all your Go-to plugins without having to scroll all thru. I did that and it’s totally effective and smart

      That's something that took me years to figure out, but when I started using it changed my entire workflow!

      @@Music-By-Mattie You don't seem to understand what Low Latency mode does. It doesn't compensate for the latency on the audio properties screen, and move the recordings back by that amount ; Logic does that anyway, whether you have Low Latency mode turned on or don't.
      All it actually does, is turns off plugins that introduce latency, so you can record without hearing that. You do say this in the video, but you don't seem to realise - that's all it does.
      You should probably look up Low Latency mode in the Logic help files, because it explains this quite clearly.
      The way you set it up in this video actually does nothing useful - If you set it up so it doesn't turn off plugins that introduce latency, it's not doing anything.

      @@Music-By-Mattie Also, you can customise the Control Bar and Display to add the I/O buffer size on there, so you can just change it from 128 to 1024 from that bar, without opening the audio settings, which is a better solution

    Thank you for this super informative video! I’ve been on Logic Pro for three years now and everything you’ve said are really big problems for me. I will try all of this tomorrow. Also new subscriber.

    Spot on with your suggestions....... I'm still dumfounded as to why the Logic designers don't clean up all these loose ends, and simplify the numerous menu systems, which presently resemble my grandchildren's playroom........🤣

    Great video, and entertaining as well! Now, can you become an expert on Ableton live and make all of those videos? Seriously super helpful though and I will be watching all the other videos.

    I can't hear my audio when I playback my project. My input monitoring is on, auto-input monitoring is off, and my I/O are correct. I can hear myself when I record but when I play it back, nothing plays unless I turn off my input monitoring. Is there a workaround here?

    Mattie, since seems to be the most recent video, I guess you might see this comment sooner than your videos from a year or more. Your 'training' and 'technique' videos would be so much more enjoyable to watch and absorb (too late for the earlier ones, since re-editing them would be insane) .. but after watching several, I can't help but to comment that they give me a 'headache' !! The constant clipping out at the pauses, and the rapid fire, almost unconcentratable, if that is a word, hectic presentation is really annoying which would otherwise be an enjoyable, educational content. I know this is the current trend on TH-cam and other videos, but whoever started that, and others now keep on following, is mindboggling! I would really not care if each video is even 15, 20 minutes longer, but it would save on Exedrin for most people. The herky jerky effect of cutting out pauses and not having a natural speech flow is downright, nausiating. I hope this does not offend you, since I could write this to hundreds more who make TH-cam instructional videos, but your channel would be so much more educational if you would alter your technique to a more S L O W E R paced approach. Thanks. Zoltan

      Appreciate the feedback! It's a tough balance to try to keep people entertained and try to keep the pacing natural. I'll keep that in mind for future tutorials!

    With regard to latency settings, what version of Logic are you using? I'm using 11.0.1 and there isn't a "clock" icon to turn on. Now what?
    Thanks. Gianni❤

    • @Music-By-Mattie
      @Music-By-Mattie  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You only get the clock icon by enabling the Low Latency Monitoring Mode from the dropdown menu. I explain in the video
