Good races! I really like SRB2K, but I always hear mixed things about this one mainly due to the crazy rubberbanding of your rival as well as many of the design choices that just are a bit frustrating. I might give it a shot, though, as it does look like it has its fun moments.

i tried so hard to give ring racers a chance since i love kart but i found myself getting angry more than i was having fun, what w/ how slippery the game is and the bloat in mechanics and content among other things. just not having fun w/ this either

Where do you find character mods for your server? Some of the ones I see here I cannot find on the forums or places like GameBanana.

Do note these sessions are from months ago. I have a half year or so of backlog of uploads I still need to upload slowly, just so you know.

The bots are nerfed to the point they only shoot back up to pre nerf status if you keep winning races, so usually the first track or two is a freebie. The special stages are nerfed as well that part of the damage you do the the catcher will carry over in-between attempts

I don't think the title is that right, but if the idea is 'You wouldn't have a match like this in RR' that'd be completely true. Most combat in the game is solely with frontrunners within breathing distance of each other (I'd say jawz, distance but alot of times it'd completely ignore a held defensive item so whatever(that's so stupid btw)), otherwise first is dumping immediately to chug rings, while 2nd and 3rd are jumping for jackpots or a sneaker for a convenient shortcut, the pack is almost always desperately looking for catchup due to the constant looming threat of tumblers getting slingshotted right next to them and sending them hard to the back. The tracks don't help either. You could get a quad orbi cool, most behind you are gonna take a cut that completely bypasses you, if they're not already invincible, and holding something like that is a detriment cause you can't use rings to keep your speed up. This is all assuming you even get an item in the middle, cause in vanilla item sets are torture since there's typically only 3, that's ignoring a decent amount of sets funnel people onto the same line effectively cutting it down to 2 or 1, which again is horrible because of the tumble mob. Not too sure where i was going, but i wanna say outside of convenient item capsules on the track, the amount of mines I've seen counts to less than 5.

I’m glad for the AI nerfs but I experienced somewhat similar where the bots were back to 2.1 and my rival had invincibility and RAN at me. Had to restart that track

what mod did you use to display drift gauge and effect timer ??
