What type of lights did you use? I have two shelves that I mounted side-by-side and they have 5 levels. I am trying to find something where I can have 5 LED light strips plug parallel into one trunk line that goes into a 110 outlet and can’t seem to find this setup online.

So, after dinner and searching guidebooks and online for Reveillon I had a tasting table, tasting flight of: Jura 10; Grangestone Madeira; Tamnavulin White Wine; Glen Fohdry Caribbean; Tamnavulin Red Wine; isle of Skye 8;Alexander Murray Highland 10 2011; Bank Note Peated Reserve; Scarables. Just a splash of each, it is the Holiday Party for Scotch on the Bayou.

Always great to watch your show unfortunately I don’t get to see them live …. But always raising my glass and sharing a dram when I watch. 🥃 Slainte my friend.

Hey Lee Ann. Just catching up on this episode. I’m a big fan of Balblair. When you are next over here I’ll give you a sample from my 1969 vintage. I had it for my 50th birthday as 1969 is my birth year. Cheers.

Sorry I missed this live, but my work hours have changed for the fall/winter season. I count myself as a butt hurt Balblair fanboy who is still getting over the rebranding. Beautiful distillery in a beautiful place with wonderful people. The new age statements are a pale shadow of the old vintage bottles. They are certainly competent whisky, but the quality of the vintage bottles was outstanding. Old Pulteney was also rebranded around the same time with a similar loss of quality. Bracing myself for the hammer to fall on my beloved anCnoc and Speyburn who are owned by the same corporate masters. I do find if you give Balblair 12 30 minutes in the glass some of the classic character will be there. Cheers Lee Ann

That was some line up ! What a treat. Was it the rosebank that had a distillation date the same year as your wedding. I always think a connection to the year of distillation makes it even more of a special experience . I managed to buy a couple of signatory vintage glen ord bottles with the distillation date 1 day before my daughter was born.

Had a look at my spreadsheets and the silent malt distilleries from which I have bottles are: Banff Caperdonich Coleburn Convalmore Dallas Dhu Glen Albyn Glenesk/Hillside Glenlochy Glen Mhor Glenugie Glenury-Royal Imperial Inverleven Ladyburn Littlemill Lochside Millburn North Port/Brechin Pittyvaich (Have some closed grain too - e.g. Port Dundas & Garnheath!) Working on getting some others...

I guess the secret is out.

Wow - looks incredible! 7:52 is that a glencairn glass printed on the circuit - now that's bespoke whisky lighting! All you need now is a bottle of Glen Tesco to take centre stage! 😂

Just subscribed and saw this live with Alasdair Day. I recently tried Isle or Raasay and was very impressed. In fact ended up buying 4 of the 6 Na Sia. (not the Rye, but may pick those up as well). Great content and glad I was pointed to your channel.
