Day in My Life as a Trainee CRIMINAL LAWYER (Pupil Barrister) in London | First Six of Pupillage
Interested in becoming a criminal lawyer? Life as a criminal lawyer is very different from life as a corporate lawyer. In this video I take you through the first six (non-practising period) months of my pupillage and what life looks like as a trainee criminal lawyer (pupil barrister). We look at everything including what your day-to-day routine looks like, the type of work you'll be doing and the compulsory final exams you must complete before you can progress onto your second six (practising period). Welcome to the thrilling world of criminal law.

You are so informative. Xxx
You are so informative and so amazing. Xx
Not sure I'm following what you are saying. I easily googled all of the ingredients and can see online how much of everything is in AG1.
Hi Taz, it’s Dehan here. I'm currently doing my bar in City & this is my first comment on utube for last 8 years. I want to give u massive thank u for the bar course pack, that's so organised. That's really helpful for me. Thank u again to put all those effort to make my life little bit easier to grasp the concept. ❤
I have oral submissions 😢🎉today and this has been really helpful
One word "Blueprint"
It does nothing to me. My first tried was CBD from Amazon, it didn't do anything to my insomnia. So, I went to the CBD store and bought the most expensive bottle, still didn't do anything for me.
Hi im on 1100mg hemp oil us that enough
Hi could you please explain what kind of reference does Lincoln’s Inn requires to be alongside your bar course scholarship application? Is ok to have 2 academic references? Or does of them have to be a professional reference? Thanks
I am also looking for same info
Not sure what year you studied the BPC, but noticed your booked referenced the old version of the course, did you use those books anyway and find not too much was different? I need something easier to digest than the WB & Blackstone, I have dyslexia and it’s just not suitable to me at all.
The thing about central exams is that is the real test of the performance of the bar course provider. Ask your BPC course provider before you enroll what their central examination pass rate is and it will show you how they perform on the relative curve. Let's face it everyone on the bar course is intelligent, so if the students are failing, that is a sign the course provider is failing. Great tip on don't bother with the White Book. When I attended ULaw (2016-17) they had no manual, no videos just the White Book and Blackstones and MCQs, they refused to give us PowerPoints. They never even recommended a revision guide so I was completely unaware that was even an option. A significant proportion of people failed at least one central exam in my year. When revising for resit that Summer I then became aware that half the people I thought were geniuses were accessing BPP notes, manuals and videos in a secret drop box only accessible to the well connected Oxbridges. For a course that cost 20K it was ridiculous. I managed a VC but it did not have to be that hard.
care to let us know which dropbox ;)
Hi, what are the exams like? Is it long answer questions or short answer questions and MCQs
The crown prosecution service support paedophiles and child abusers. They protect them as well as police officers who are paedophiles and child abusers.
You inspire me soo much
Spirulina is the largest thing in it. The rest I believe is 20%. Not much and not at a level that will help.
Hello Taz, thank you very much for this video. In a written application would you suggest using bullet points or writing whole paragraphs? Will a combination of bullet points and paragraphs for the different components of the STAR method work in your opinion? Thanks.
@@h_zeb2262 no worries. I would suggest if it is for a written application I would suggest writing in prose. If it is for structuring a response for an interview question bullet points can work nicely
@@tazaldeek ok cheers
is there a difference btw "BPTC Revision Prepare to Pass Civil Litigation and Evidence 2019-20 Sixth Edition" (green book) and "Bar Training Courses Revision Prepare to Pass Civil Litigation and Evidence from 2020" (Blue book)?
@@ArmaghanKhan-s9v you are better off getting the bar training course version as it is more modern since the bptc changed to the btc - fundamentally though the material is vary similar
@@tazaldeek what book would you recommend for criminal Litigation since Rory Clarke's isn't 'modern either or is it still worth it?

Hello you present these videos in such an intriguing and a very interesting way. Xx
What would you recommend in AG1’s stead?
What a moron!
You are for buying/supporting AG1!
@@Jared-Jones - You bought it and did an entire video on it. Who’s supported it more? Me or you lol. You muppet! 🤡
What a great video thanks 👍
As someone considering a career transition into becoming a barrister, videos like this are really appreciated. When you're completely detached from anything to do with legal education/the legal industry, it can be really hard to get an insight to what it's actually like in the day to day, and stuff like this helps. Cheers.
Can u make a video on how to apply for pupillage or what to do after passing BAR?
Hi, this is Turja. Your very old subscriber. Looking forward to joining your PUPILAGE classes before prepping for it
AG1 is quackery at it's best.
I've rarely take food supplements and getting it from whole foods. It amazes me on just how many people actually take these. I guess, some people needs it more than others.

Well done pal….one of the hardest professions to crack, especially when you come from a modest not so affluent background. An amazing achievement, I was smiling with joy for you at the end. Determination pays off, it’s never overnight and the challenges placed in front of you just demonstrated your determination. Well done again!!
Thank you that was very informative I was about to purchase it just to try , now I have some thinking to do !
Cheers mate
Have a greart start!
I wouldn't buy it just because it has Natural flavors added to it, which is MSG. why they put that toxic garbage in it is beyond me.
Great advice! Is there a newer version of these texts? Or is buying the old one and supplementing sufficient ?
@@bok2077 there is a newer version but always supplement with your own notes
The recipe of those Ikea meat balls... that's a puzzle that no lawyer can solve. Good luck !
Thank goodness i found this video. I was watching Steven Mark Ryan telling me how Tesla is on the cusp of solving autonomy then he spent 10 min talking about AG1. Money saved not spending it on this rubbish.
For another $2.53 US per month you can add separately purchased electrolytes to your mix: Potassium Gluconate powder, ancient sea salt, and a Magnesium Citrate tablet. I based that figure on what I pay for what I currently take. Might as well take care of hydration, blood pressure, and heart function along with the other stuff...
Congratulations!
