Hey Erica, I have a Roomba, that my kids gave me several years ago. My son has a generic Roomba. Honestly, his vacuum seems faster and works just as much as my name brand roomba. My house is larger than his, maybe that is why it doesn’t seem to work as well. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

I’m so excited that you have a tree coming and we get to see you decorate, and your cozy home decked out for Christmas! 🎄 That bay window is just begging for a gorgeous Christmas tree! 🎄 Girl, you don’t need to explain to anyone why you are cleaning up after your child!! If he was enjoying the fort and you didn’t want to end that early, that makes you a wonderful momma! Memories of childhood are everything. I’ve cleaned up many a forts after my kids and grandchildren, and they grew into responsible and respectable adults! I hate that people think kids should have every nit picking responsibility or their life is ruined. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ It’s absolutely fine to do for your kids at times. I know it’s hard to raise a child with an audience; everyone has an opinion. Just know that you never owe anyone an apology or explanation about YOUR decisions concerning YOUR child. ❤

Love your videos! The one thing I can add is when those boys call, give them all the time you can. My 2 sons and 1 daughter are adults now. I cherish the moments that they call and just want to talk. The dirty house will he there. Time passes way too fast!❤❤

Gurl, I almost forgot to tell you I just sold my townhouse and paid cash for a mobile home and my hvac was doing the same yours was running all the time, Lowe’s has combination portable acs that also have heat and dehumidifiers snatch those up when they go on sale for like $280 again I’m using them until I decide it’s time to upgrade to mini splits.

Fairmont, WV is my home town. ❤💙💛 It’s where my family has been for generations, and where my kids were born. We’ve been in FL (northern, very rural) for almost 18 years now. I miss WV and always say I want to go back. But, this morning, I had to turn on the heat and couldn’t function in the cold. I couldn’t live with the cold anymore. I’d have to be able to afford to be a snowbird, and that’s not happening unless I hit the lottery. 😂 The next comment is from one of you’re other videos, but you said you hate taking out the trash. Me too!!! I will let it overflow. Why don’t you make that Joe’s chore? He seems like the kind of kid that would take pride in handling something for you. ❤

My opinion on your "adhd", is you are normal. I don't think people need medication for this, but the way to heal is to keep practicing to manage your life, discipline, hard work and exercise (you do this). You cannot heal your mind from medication, but to work through life's issues with a natural brain. Also I don't believe in these diagnoses' , I believe these are just ways for medical to keep you a life long patient . You are normal, these are normal behaviors for most people, especially because we are trying to live naturally in an un-natural world

It’s ok not to be organized and have a spotless home. So much more to life than that. My mom recently passed away and I noticed that she wasn’t concerned with her home being spotless before she passed, it just wasn’t important to her or us. Mind you her home was not a disaster but it was lived in. My home stays in disarray constantly bc I’m raising my 6 year old grandson and my focus is on him. We have everything we need and we enjoy our home

I have not been diagnosed with anything but do have some of the tendencies of lack of focus. I try to use my ‘crazy’ to my advantage. When I am jumping from task to task I do a frenzied put things where it belongs . This tires my out so that I can settle into a focused task.

Great job! I love it when people show that the Great American Dream of home ownership is never out of reach. Our son bought a beat up double wide for $5,000. It’s an ‘84 and built like a rock. We live in Florida, and it’s taken 3 direct hits from hurricanes, two of which were Cat 5. Not a single bit of damage. My ex and I helped our son fix it up beautiful. We rehabbed it inside and out and it’s like a brand new home. Since our labor was free, all in cost of $12k and our son owns his own home. Our family owns a mobile home business, so bringing and setting up on our land cost $0. People need to be willing to put some work in, like you did, instead of complaining that they can’t afford what they want. Having to rehab gives you the opportunity to make it exactly what you want. ❤

Rice 100%. I blame it on being raised in southern Louisiana. We will have rice for nearly every meal. Cook a roast or stew with potatoes? Serve over rice. Gumbo? Goes over rice. Boudin? Has rice in it. Not only do we eat a lot of it but a lot of the farmland is dedicated to rice (and soybeans). 😅

Try removing the dirt and lining the hanging basket with with plastic to help hold the moisture.
