@@FinnvanderLinden-jt4dt nice, the buckle loses a lot of value when swastika removed but it’s still very cool. The leather belt and tab are still nice and worth money though. I would like to get a belt too, it’s hard to get matching ones these days though without spending £400+ if it’s in good condition with paint though

Nice I bought my belt from someone what didn’t know what it was I payed 50€

@@FinnvanderLinden-jt4dt if it’s in good condition the buckle is worth around that but the leather will be worth closer to 85 so you got a good deal

@@FFAlover. it’s a beauty, shame it doesn’t have a bit more paint on it, but it clearly came off from being used as most were! Still a lovely piece I might get the actual leather belt to match too

@@FFAlover. yeah the Heer Double Decal you see on top of the helmet on the left appears to be shot. Two holes in it and a crack on the top, named to Kimmel. It’s probably my favourite helmet because it has a lot of character you can see it more in another one of my videos

@@FFAlover. named M40 helmet to a Leutnant Münch, boxed 1938 matching unshot tropical 7.92 ammo, Latvian SS relic runes (in the post now), mp40 magazine - everyone tbinks different things are cool. My only limiting factor is space and money!

@@IroncladProductionss you have to use tons of websites as they’re fairly scarce these days and command high prices. Simply google ww2 militaria or ww2 German militaria or ww2 German helmets and you’ll find dozens but they won’t all be good it’s a patience game. I first suggest you learn about helmets unless you already know and then search out one that you’re looking for

@@Nick_B_Bad nice one - m34’s are fairly cheap to come by so it’s pretty common for them to get restored. You can add double decals to make it look nice period correct but the brush paint won’t be perfect as they were smooth paint. Still a nice item to have on display though

Thank you very much Christian - I’m fairly amateur by TH-cam standards, but authentic! I’ll be doing an update on my whole collection in the coming weeks - 11/12 helmets now and how to install a decal on an m40 I’ve just refurbished soon too! 👌

Collector - have just slowly accumulated some items that don't break the bank for display. At least you know they will only go up in value if you don't overpay in the first place

Thanks for the feedback, I have a 5 year old iPhone that’s dying - getting the new model in a couple months when it’s out! You could be right for sure that there was paint over all of this and someone was not very careful scrubbing it all away.. check my other video I show it more in detail as opposed to this video. Definitely need to get more storage on the next phone and have better quality vids with less issues!

Pretty cool - there are plenty out there in rusty condition like I imagine that one was - it’s the mint ones that are really hard to get these days

@LiamCWW2 Mine was mint even had a name written in the inside and emblems on outside, wish I would have kept

@@garydonnelly8337 mint original helmets with names can definitely be worth a few thousand pounds!

You can get them but expect to spend at least $800. This one on the right is fiddled with but check out my other luftwaffe helmets that are more original

@@LiamCWW2I’d definitely be good with spending that on a nice M40 or 42 single decal. For some reason they’re so hard to find here in the U.S. someone’s hoarding them I guess haha. 😂 I do need to find a nice M40 Luft to go with the M35’s and M42 I’ve got tho!

Not at all. It’s called collecting or having a hobby, there’s nothing wrong with museums having these items. Why is it wrong for someone like me to have them? If you forget history, it gets repeated. Some people are very narrow minded though and don’t realise that.. just because you collect items of ww2 doesn’t mean that you’re a neo nazi..

@LiamCWW2 nah it's fine but without context of you being collector. It's a little concerning.

@@LiamCWW2I totally get called a Nazi on a regular basis because I’m in the same hobby. Mind you they never notice the Italian or Japanese items, just the German stuff. 😂

@@Nick_B_Bad too true! You’re lucky enough to be in America where you can have real live guns!

That’s my main focus are the Axis pistols $ rifles. But of course that led to belts for the holsters and snowballed into everything else lol. But the firearms and helmets are my definite favorites to collect! You got a great collection! & a new subscriber as well!

The only thing I know is that it was found in Stalingrad and there is only one soldier who is MIA/KIA in Stalingrad with this surname, Arnold Kimmel... so a fairly decent chance it was him - if it was I know he was born in 1916 and is on the list of missing soldiers

Not seen it, it’s located between France and the U.K. the only British territory tbst Germany conquered
