Hi mate, nice video. I’m away to buy a KTM 250 Exc but I have been put off by the bad reviews on KTM & Husky’s 2024 that they run out of fuel even though there is still plenty of fuel in the tank! There are China motocross bikes that have better brakes than 2024 Husky's , far better and that's disgusting! KTM better start thinking more about their customers and less about their bottom line. There's a difference between making a profit and ripping off your customers.

I could be mistaken but I believe the 300 RR RE uses KYB, not Sachs as stated here. The Sachs are standard on the Standard RR, I most people who have written both prefer them over the KYB, because they complain about the KYB being a bit stiff on the RE. At least this is the case for 2024.

I’m 6’2 you might be taller but I’m not short it dose not matter if you’re 7’0 or 5’0 if your on a bike and you’re in a technical situation and you need to be able to put your feet on the ground you can with a shorter bike the extra little bit might be the difference in falling and catching yourself when you lose balance take a trails bike for example they are the most capable off-road motorcycle in the world and when you’re on one there, maybe 5 inches off the ground the only thing that matters is your rider triangle if you feel cramped, get some bar risers get some pegs that go down and back just fix your rider triangle if you’re a taller guy

@@coalcountryrider I don’t ride enduro/tech. However, I do ride tight NC woods in the foothills of the NC mountains. I have zero complaints about it at this point. I don’t even have a fan on mine and ride tight woods with some pretty long slow sections and have no overheating issues. It’s bone stock and will lug or absolutely rip. It’s a great bike. The enduro bikes were too soft and slow for my liking so I went with the TX because it’s a little faster/aggressive, has slightly stiffer suspension. I don’t have a situation where I will really need a headlight but I might ride moto or race the occasional harescramble/sprint enduro so the TX was the better do it all ride.

I have trials bikes, Xtrainer and traditional 2T 300's. Xtrainer power isn't like a trials, it does have a powerband that will rip the tire free in muddy conditions but it is easy to lug. We don't ride fast enough (mostly 1st and 2nd gear - hard enduro) to notice a lack of top end power. Plenty of power for big hills like a XCW or TE300. Suspension sucks but it's an easy fix by sending the fork to AMP Suspension in Montana. Overall, if you are under 6' tall, I think it's the perfect bike for hard enduro.

Great review, clearly a good rider. I own a 300 xcw and 21 xtrainer. I find the strainer has better low end and proves it against my riding buddies all the time. Does.great on the gnarly hills in the Pacific NW. Has absolutely little to no top end. I breathe a lot of dust on connecting gravel roads when on it! I think if it was your bike and you moved the power valve, put it in dry mode, you might be surprised down low..
