Hey Everyone!
I am on a brief, forced "Technology" break.
The GPU on my my editing computer decided to "bite the dust" just before the end of 2021... only weeks out of warranty.
I'm waiting for a new computer to be made. Unfortunately, the Pandemic Supply shortages have extended the wait time.
I wish I could continue to post from a phone or tablet, but visual impairment/Stargardt's Disease makes it a bit impossible.
I'l be back soon.

2023 Halloween Projection Mapping - Superstition inspired show
Another example of how a simple show mapped to the contours of the house can be very effective.

In 2020 runDisney and Walt Disney marked the 15th anniversary of an iconic race event ~ Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. Here's the entire NYC Marathon in about an hour. OK - it took me nearly six hours, but I FINISHED! Not bad for a legally blind/visually impaired runner. No. My shows are made specifically for my home and map. I asume you know the specifics of Projection Mapping and making a map for your house. You can find great shows to purchase by looking up Fitz Studios and Baird Manor... also Matt Champneys... if you need some beginners tips on mapping check out Luma Box.

Is this all done with one projector?
Yes. Optoma GT1080 (GT2100 for 2023 Halloween.) Short Throw ... The projector is about 25-feet-ish away ... back by the fence and about 3-feet off the ground. The Short Throw allows you to get the larger image at the needed brightness. The image is about 41-feet by about 22-feet. I masked out the area with the stone and landscaping and used the contours of the window frames and downspouts. Hoping to get to a 4K to tackle some of the resolution issues ... in the future ... if the prices ever get to be a bit more reasonable ... but the 1080p works from teh perspective of the viewer. I am also hoping to expand to the front with a short throw on th eporch roof... this would require a bit of synchronization. I have already "mapped" the house if this ever happens.

We used the Adobe Creative suite to draw and animate all of this show. It took six months. detials are in the TH-cam description.

Thank you. The Gerald "puppet" is the only one I really struggled with when it came to animation. We just couldn't get the rigging right... so my head rolls around. LOL
