I'm a Tor Lowry patreon. Each quarter they let me submit a video of me playing, and they provide feedback on my strengths and weaknesses. This is the current level I hold as of October 2023. I've done small changes to my stance and stroke, and I'm still making improvements. I'm playing on a diamond table with 3.9 inch pockets.

Unlike other pool videos, your video is concise, well edited, and very clean. Love it! And these tips are going to be super helpful. I shortened my stroke and it's already feeling way better, can't wait to try to others!
I've been doing this for some time now. It works. Would like to add that power shots do not work for me, so I concentrate on shooting softer and using proper English to get shapes for my next shot. Again, power shots are a ball out of control. Just saying
No the best in the world all practice stroke towards the ball without hitting it to envision their shot and for the English as well. If you're overcorrecting then don't correct stick to you stroke but you can still feel out your stroke definitely helps
@poolproblems hey bro, love the content. I noticed sometimes you have flickering in your video from the light. If you copy your video to a new layer and put it over the original, then move one of them by just one frame it will cancel out the flickering without any other noticeable effects. Peace and love
Thanks, buddy! You are right. I used to shoot in 30/60, but I learned that I need to shoot in 25/50/100 since I am in Europe, and that fixed the flickering. So my latest two videos should be flickering free, but I'll try you tip if I come across some old 30/60 footage, thanks!
I always get better with good players but I get worse playing with worse players
Yes your wrong this is horrible advice 😂😂
What about 1 pocket?
What’s Your Fargo
YES!
I’ve adopted ur drill. It’s effective as it builds confidence and muscle memory
where can i find a table like yours please ...
The getting up to adjust isn't onlu due to a lack of confidence, it is being confident that you may have lined up incorrectly and it is better to adjust your form than try to change the angle of your stroke to compensate for the lack of form. Other than that i think all the other tips are spot on.
very helpful video
The gift and the next thing you do is the chalk up. Did just like this, and that's already. In case the tip is slippery, you chalk it up and then I won't skid off the ball, say, look how well he did that garden. He was a good chocolate for the first time. Yeah, the next thing to go is to learn how to stroke. So you can put it in between number 4, the head and you put the Q in between your fingers like that, and you have what they call a brake, you see. Now you go back easy, easy and the idea is to hit the white wall into that pack and break them all out and say when all the boys break up there on a break of one of the balls that goes in east pocket that each one of those is a point for you who I see you know like.Go ahead, you can take a dinner to wall and you'll have to be patient with me.Remember I just ever did I want it
I would only add one thing… Consume at least three pints of premium lager before even thinking of playing well…
great video thanks
All top pros have either slight elbow drop on all shot or drastic elbow drop and yes even fedor gorst does this. Not moving your elbow is not natural for a swing motion it’s like telling a golfer to swing your shot with out moving your hips towards. All pros have a slight elbow drop or a lot
Why did you blur out the aha tips. Annoying asf
This helped me out SO much. Havent even started practicing it and I already know my game has improved. 🙏

bla bla bla
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
why jump cue have 3 piece? like predator
Can You teach the eye pattern do you use thank you
The pockets are like buckets on these tables.
Thanks Bro, appreciate your help
0:32 My man this is NOTHING compared to one I pulled off the other night. I did that same thing tho. I elevated the back of the cue and came up to hit, except mine was a full power break attempt. My results were what could possibly be a world record jump shot. I was lucky nobody was on the table beyond me because the cue ball landed on its racking area. Do you have any tips or recommendations on what you did differently? Bridge, grip, stroke, anything like that? On some 7 and 9 foot tables I play on, I get this to work on 1 out of every 3 or 4 breaks. But there's one place I play at regularly that has 8' tables and I can't seem to get a pop on them no matter what I do.
I play billiard every month since I don't really have my own table, I watch videos like this cuz I might find it useful for something else or for when I finally play billiard
Thanks, looking forward to trying the sidearm technique when I get home! If I might add a general tip for other viewers here, invest in some "shark skin" pads to save your cloth.
Actually gumagaling nadin ako
I use a drill called “keep playing until my smooth brain gets it” 🤣
Short shot,, short bridge,, Medium shot,, medium bridge length,, Long shot,, slip stroke,, You are welcome..
Facts.
Just like in basketball, 90% of nba players have a pre free throw routine. Totally agree with that tip! 👍🏽
Good advice EXCEPT the last advice about staying down on the shot.
And there’s me thinking nice sho….poster😅
Fuck
Nice video. Some useful information in here. But I would suggest studying the cue action of snooker players rather than pool players. Sean McMurphy, Neil Robertson, Kyren Wilson are some of the worlds best cueists. Also look into the SightRight system
Love this video...how can you be reached messenger Facebook I have a few questions
Your videos are insightful and helpful to all pool players. However, you are NOT average. The effort you put into improving your game and your consistency is NOT average. How do you think that make us legit average players feel?? Haha, keep grinding and awesome content! 😎 🎱
What’s Your Fargo Rate Now?
Me: Trying to focus on the ball My friends around me: "sKibiDI DOp dOp yEs yeS"..
I agree with number 5, but sometimes I know I am wrong and I do readjust. For my game, if I don't, I almost always miss and knew ahead of time. I don't restart the entire sequence, but if my first impression looking down the stick is wrong, I adjust. This is once or twice in 10 or 20 games. I would also add #6, a tip from Mosconi's video. Raise and lower your bridge instead of hitting up and down on the cue ball; this was my biggest aha moment by far. Top spin will thank you
I like the CIT graphic, so much easier to understand.
1:09 why ?
I love your videos because i love the way you teach and i can easily understand them i hope u make more videos so i can improve in pool/billiards
Focusing on result❌ Focusing on process ✅ It's absolutely truth😅which is happened to me always
Thank you for this epic video with detailed explanations... I will try to improve my practice sessions and games with your advises. Salute!
This is great. I will comment on the last tip about not getting up. This is advice that I think gets misunderstood. The REASON your shot doesn't feel right is usually that you didn't execute your pre shot correctly. A foot is out of position, your shoulder tucked wrong. Etc. So now you don't only not "feel right" you are likely mechanically misaligned. You should absolutely get up and reset. Learning to identify when you've mechanically misaligned or are simply nervy just comes with time and partaking in competition.
That's very interesting. My biggest problem as a player is that some days I am misaligned all the time. I assume it is because I've slightly changed my pre-shot routine, usually bad feet placement. In 3 cushion billiards where the table is 10 feet long and we often play with a lot of side spin, it's not ideal!! I really suck at recognising what I'm doing different. Any suggestion to improve?
