The best of MAD MEN 📺 Roger & Don: We've all parked in the wrong garage | HD with subtitles
"Roger, like Don, would pretty much fuck anything that moves. He was drunk and Betty is beautiful. Sometimes for men like this, that’s all that matters."
Roger marks his territory and assert his dominance by getting Betty, Don’s own wife, to flirt with him and give him attention - in Don’s home. He metaphorically pees all over the place during that dinner. The next day he gives a cryptic apology where he won’t specifically say what he did, but he tells that story about parking at the wrong building and realizing he’s not at his home. Don acts confused about what Roger is apologizing for, but ultimately gives the "All is Forgiven" signal. That night he is still angry at Betty, with no mention of Roger’s admittance of guilt. It’s easier for Don to attack Betty than confront his boss. So he resorts to tricks with Roger and takes his anger out on Betty.
Mad Men takes seven seasons to try and answer the question: Who is Don Draper? And Don himself tries his utmost to answer the question himself, with no shortage of lies and denial. Don’s in the business of being in control. He strives to control how others perceive him and, through advertising, how others think about what they want in life. The show introduces Don as a creative genius, a man who has it all. He’s both a suburban family man and city playboy. He has a flashy Madison Avenue job and passion for his work. He navigates the chauvinism of the office with an aplomb that others don’t exhibit and, at least in the early seasons, it makes him come off as a gentleman.
Roger Sterling, Jr. is a senior partner and accounts executive at Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency in Manhattan, NY. He is a notorious womanizer and a heavy smoker and drinker until two heart attacks in the same year force him to slow down, at least for a while.
- Mr. Draper? Mr. Sterling to see you.
- Send him in.
- Something for the golf bag. That's the good stuff.
- I take it you got home in one piece.
- I made it as far as the Knights Inn off the Taconic.
- I know that place. It's got great water pressure.
- Yeah, I slept in the car. About last night.
- What about it?
- When a man gets to the point when his name's on the building, he can get an unnatural sense of entitlement.
- What does that mean, Roger?
- You're not gonna make this easy.
- I don't even know what this is.
- One night, years ago, I got very drunk. I drive home to my building, pull into the garage, park at my spot. I get in the elevator. It's late. There's no operator. Go up to the 12th floor. Get out. I'm walking down the hall. It's pink and orange. I remember how ugly it was. Suddenly, my key won't fit in the door. Wasn't my building. I guess what I'm saying is, uh... at some point, we've all parked in the wrong garage.
- Thanks for the bottle, Roger.
- And?
- Betty's going to want that glass back.
- Good man. Maybe I should get a case of those, huh?
- - -
- Hi, honey. I made a roast beef. Just cut the strings.
- Oh, roast beef? You know it's just me tonight, right?

Thats life in the creative field; hear a bad idea but it inspires a GREAT idea. Pete DOES have a place there after all.🤣
Pete Campbell: "Exactly" 🤣😂🤣😂
I never liked Peggy omg
Aha the extended version. For some reason I can 't get enough of Mad men. The shorter version from saving the world lacks the preamble and the fact that Don had to be on his best behaviour and turn up early. He knew what would happen if he did not... The " I don't HAVE to live there ", is exactly how middle class US Jews think about The Medinat Yisroel. But they never say it out loud. However Rachel simply Don't care.... Also "Those people , as you call us " (RM) but Don has NEVER said that. She's abusing him as the Goy she sees him as, without any justification. Don Frankly is just sexist in a Male dominated advertising rough and tumble world of the sixties **. She's accusing him of being anti septic. Ie she 's building a fence but OTOH he gave her some serious stick in that meeting and she's still angry about that in her mind. There is , to be frank, a lot in the script. ** And He fragged his superior officer and told a lot of lies to climb that Manhattan tower too.. if only Rachel knew. :-)). TEF
I love this song.
The start of a series that is unsurpassed in every way. Thanks for the compilation.
These two have gone so far
Dems gotta be like that
She tried to play it off with the you want to bounce me off the walls? And his best come back is “sometimes I feel like I’m living with a little girl”. Perfect come back because he is talking serious and she doesn’t even consider his feelings at all.
Thats not his comeback. His comeback is his continued infidelity, love is a war not a battle
Hence why we have warnings now on bags
"we're selling america"
Don: “I knew what I wanted… from the first time you stormed out of our office.” Rachel: “You stormed out of your office.” 😂
Honestly same
THIS SCENE IS JUST PERFECT !!! <3
So good, the way Roger apologizes without ever saying it, That Don jas forgiven him by accepting the gift fully. how Don challenges Betty despite not saying it, she feels guilty and cooked more for him All laid out for the audience to work with the show for their own conclusions. And this one of the "meh" episodes apparently
this episode is my best It's sad that resuscitation is the first and last kiss. The music is also great
It goes to show you that supposed. Well to do families are just toxic and human as anyone else. Today if that man was caught slapping a child he could be charged with child abuse.
Don is a serial cheater, but he wouldn’t let Beth to even have a thought of emotional cheating on him !
“Happy birthday baby” he forcefully gave Sally a kiss only then Sally wiped off the kiss and went straight to the dog , lol
I love this one. But again, I don’t understand why he didn’t come home after pickup the cake, and how he got a dog?! He doesn’t like party obviously, but it’s not his party, he obviously love his daughter at that time.
Its season 1 ...?
Two beautiful women
Anyone know the song at the end?
This is the best recording of the aria in my opinion.
Hey, as a kid, I would've taken Sara Lee cheesecake over that grocery store cake any day.
Roger's worst moment.
That's why Don made him eat oysters and get drunk at work the next day and climb a bunch of stairs so he threw up.
@rejanrobinson8797 Masterful move that was.
I want to watch this movie and series....pls tell me about this movie and series name.......
Good vid. Thanks for the upload.
Joan was always at her cattiest best in these early seasons.
Don should have divorced Betty and settled down with Rachel. She was the only strong woman Don was ever with, she could have kept him in place.
This scene shows so much of Don's character. He uses womanizing and his looks as a distraction from his hollowness, he avoids vulnerability and love by putting on a cynical overly masculine persona, he tries to ignore the past and "move forward" when put in a tough position. But Rachel just shuts it all down, shuts him down. And as a response, he wants to order another drink as a coping mechanism.
betty draper is a real life barbie 🫶🏼
Eating with a jacket on,each to their own.
the drama and sensuality when rachel, peggy, or joan took off one of their BIG EARRINGS to use those ancient phones…
Don showed her his ALPHA. 💪
This is truly rude.
I think she planned it. She wanted to know if Don still had it for her what with all his sleeping around. Clearly did. Well done Betty.
Yeah I think so too
One of my Top Ten flicks! Duffy makes it even better.
This is Joan totally in command of the male gaze, she knows what they’re doing in the viewing room and she’s in control.
Joans voice is so low and beautiful here
Finally accurate subtitles,i never understood about 30% of the lines
Idk why but watching her make the drinks is satisfying to me lol
... bounce me off the walls?" "Yeaa! Are you a ball?" "No!" "Thought so!" lol
Thats the nnew junior exec.. waohaha
I can’t believe everyone in the comments is being harsh to Don. Who the fuck could live like this? He took a short sabbatical from the fake bs.
I love how Roger couldn't see that Betty only cooked 2 steaks for herself and her husband since she wasn't expecting anyone else that evening. Uninvited guest Roger is eating her steak and shamelessly asking her why she is not eating!
He really deserved that stair prank Don pulled on him
Both women should stop that smoking, lol.
The movies remind me of the ones 😊my Dad took of our family.
Glenn a little pervert. 😮
Lol they play the victim! They are the worse predators
You're not going to heaven
