Hot on the tail! TGRA Scholarship Series RD 2 - Race 3
Welcome back for Race 3, took me a while to get back to this.
Unfortunately I had a poor launch off the startline and then scrapy first lap which led to me dropping back a few places from where I started. Managed to settle into a rhythm and start focusing forward and pick some off one at a time. I always had someone on my tail for most of this race, having one eye forward and behind always makes things difficult when trying to move forward. Still a few errors here and there as well as some contact in the back of the car hampered the progress forward and kept the other competitors on my tail instead of pulling away.
This eventually led to finishing where I started in P20. Another weekend down, this time finishing all the races, though the car did look a little beaten up by the end, it still came home in one pretty straight piece.
A little disappointing weekend results wise, as I feel I could have got more out of it, but that's what happens when you don't do a good enough job in qualifying and have to try and battle your way forward from near the back.
Onto the next one at one of my favourites at Phillip Island Grand Prix track, home to the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix. Really looking forward to this one. Watch out for this soon!

The fight back!! if we honest, grip level is more like gt7 than acc
any experienced racers here know whether these drivers take a quick glance at their dashboard often to keep track what gear they are on or do they just memorize what gear they are all the time? For example, when having to downshift from 6th to 3rd.
This is nordschliefe endurance, not the regular Nurburgring nordschliefe, which I like more

it really is the green hell... Not only do you have to survive the insane track, but the traffic on it as well. Even in the real races they usually have a mixture of fast & slow cars. Its such an awesome track words cant describe it.
