It’s so annoying😂 If it’s on top of the water I either throw a frog and a heavy punch rig. If it’s subsurface like it was in the video, I almost always find success in throwing a swim jig and running it over the grass. I appreciate the support a ton🙏🏻

When I bought mine it came with an extra tail, I’m not sure if yours did too but I’m pretty sure most of them do. If you still have the package maybe check in there.

@@CrankinCole will do, u should also try the Savage gear shine glide, I got the 9in 4oz version. Caught some good size ones. It's a good entry level glide, also they have a smaller version. For like 30 bucks

It’s never too late to try new things! Once you get good and really comfortable with the baitcaster, you will LOVE it. I grew up with spinning rods and it took me a while to break the habit of snapping the rod forward when casting, but the more I practiced, the easier it got and now it’s second nature!

It was a very rough day 😂😂😂 I may try to magnet fish again some day, it does seem like a lot of fun once you get it down

Yes, I actually have a light setup but I only use it when panfishing. I don’t have a use for it when it comes to bass fishing for the most part.

It depends, I use different line on different setups. It’s also important to note that if you have a lighter lure, it’s going to be super hard to cast if you don’t have lighter pound test. For my spinning set ups generally I run anywhere from 8-15lb braided main line. For most Baitcasting applications I run between 10-20lb Flurorocarbon with the only exceptions being when I’m fishing a top water or heavy cover, I’ll use anywhere from 30-65lb braid.

Nope, you’re totally right they’re still spawning down here in NC in that 65-75° water temp we have right now. I just didn’t have anything really to fish off beds because I mostly packed for the fly trip that never happened 😂😂 Thanks for the support though bro, I appreciate it!
