Edit: Also if you want to catch small mouth bass (this goes for all bass) in what i'm guessing colder weather and they are probably in post spawn/spawn you probably will want to use more of a finesse approach with a senko or swim bait slowly through the water making tiny sporadic movements with you're rod (I may be wrong but this helps me catch a lot of bass especially small mouth)
Nope, you’re totally right they’re still spawning down here in NC in that 65-75° water temp we have right now. I just didn’t have anything really to fish off beds because I mostly packed for the fly trip that never happened 😂😂
