The Unknown Gang that Terrorized Japan… and Disappeared.
The 1984 kidnapping of the hugely successful Japanese Glico corporation would be the first of many crimes that the group, naming themselves “The Monster with 21 Faces” would commit, leaving a trail of fear and mystery in their wake, and creating one of the most notorious unsolved cases in Japanese criminal history.

Who Was the Soviet Spy Codenamed "Perseus"?
The intrigue. The sadism. The mocking. The suspense. The narcissism. The thrills. Wow. I’d love to see this situation depicted on the big screen. The narrator’s voice is a little Betty Boop for my taste, but it works. Decent grammar, voice inflection, intonation, punctuation, etc. Good stuff Hun. New sub. 🕵🏽♀️
Excellent video. Odell Rhodes was also another survivor that was able to slip away by deceiving members.
Miyazaki Manabu (Toppa Mono) is an interesting figure. He is an intelligentsia yakuza who was ideologically very left leaning (once a JCP member). He hated big businesses destroying traditional communities, and used to lead his men to vandalize Loan Sharks' stores.

i like star wars too. i give lip service to people who care about me. i wanna make movies and i sometimes i tell lies. the thing is i just cant understand this guys motive. i mean i can relate to him a lot outside of his cheating and crime. its like i can almost get how he feels and it makes me sick and confused because i would never kill someone. why would he want to do that? and with no remorse? its hard for me to believe sometimes that people can just kill. i understand having a lack of empathy and i mean empathy is a type of intelligence, limerence is kind of learned i guess. i think its always come easy to me and i know that sometimes people just feel heartless and inhuman because they cant care about other peoples emotions. but why is that a motive for murder?? can someone imagine that it would be fun to kill someone??? its so sick to me. i think a lot of the time people try to treat killers like they are inhuman, a different species, empty inside, possessed by evil. to try and other them, and separate them from real people. but they are just people. they have beating hearts, lungs and arteries and they have thoughts and ideas that are inseparable from the shared experience that is humanity. the way this guy wrote, i think he thought he could be a psycho killer like it would solve all his problems. feeling detached from himself and people he lives with, feeling stuck in his own life, things a lot of non-killers go through, he really thought he could make his own life a movie. not any movie but one where hes the very allure of evil. having that label for himself, the idea that maybe hes like a god or a myth with no real sense to his humanity. a true monster. but hes not a monster. hes just some fucking douchbag who killed someone. i think we need to stop calling them cool stuff and just start calling them fucking douchbags that want to kill people.

If he didn’t approve of interracial relationships isn’t she a European? And he’s South American?
Uruguayans are mostly European (close to 90%) with less mix than many south american countries.

Leh is the killer
Knowing that there was sand from LA in the bag I have a feeling like this was an American that was visiting Japan which makes sense on why they couldn’t find them :(
Odd similarities between this case and the series of axe murders in the USA a century ago. The brutal killing of a family for no reason. The killer staying in the house for hours after the murder, eating and drinking. The way the females were more brutally slain. No killer ever identified. I just watched a video about the Villisca Axe Murder case - and it’s bizarre how so many of the same horrifying details struck me.
capitalism and its military imperialist arm being the culprit at every level
Nobody has really mentioned this but when you consider their family homes were prime real estate in an increasingly monopolized residential space of land that was being sold off one house at a time, and being the "last ones to resist", it really shouldn't surprise anyone too much that this may have been a hit job by the yaks of a construction firm related gang, to not only erase the entire family because they didn't want to sell, but also traumatize the other half of the family into selling both properties. I've spent a lot of time in Japan and this predatory practice happens day in day out. Many construction company plans get stalled for months and even years because existing families refuse to sell out. This leads to targeted violence and "ghosts who get away with murder". That specific area of west Tokyo has turned into a high-rise tower mansion style upper-middle class area, where land prices have risen dramatically over the last 20 years as Tokyo has sprawled westward to accommodate the insane amount of urban tower development taking place. I maintain this family was murdered for the land they didn't want to sell.

why do i get the feeling that the monster had a conscience like they never killed anyone even when they poisoned stuff they put big indications on it that it was poisoned and the moment someone actually died even indirectly caused by them they immediately stopped
he’s lucky it was only his arm that got pinned, but he’s a real badass for breaking and cutting his arm off. that’s unfathomable!
I would have died there is no way I could endure the pain of cutting my arm off so my respect for this guy is so much !! 💯
no cc or subs...why
The US army crime lab on Zama could have processed the DNA and there are not any laws against giving out information. Many US military speak Japanese fluently. Or was this a North Korean spy?
Sorry, I can't listen to your whisper voice for more than 2 minutes
Holly shif! I though the aftermath was gonna be like 70 people!!!!! 909 yoooooooo!!!! I’m in shock!
knowing how korean and chinese has absolute hate toward japan, i bet the killers is US born south korean who live in japan for some time because of his job (US military personnel), and has plan for a long time to did this before leaving japan
It’s crazy how his race-pimping socialism sounds so similar to race-pimping socialists today 😢
Such obvious classism and racism littered all over the case which undeniably makes it harder to solve as time goes
The mother was a tutor in korean school. Maybe that could have been a clue? Knowing that the shoes only sold in korea. It could also explain that the killer was more brutal with the mother and daughter. Maybe the killer born and raised in japan that explains why he didn’t have fingerprints on the korean database. As for the sand in the backpack, it could have been thrifted. An ex military man came back to his country after serving in us and sold his old possessions to a thrift store. I think he was looking for something when he created that mess. I don’t think he waited in the house but he actually went through all the documents. What really suprised me was how he knew that the mother and daughter was sleeping in the attic. Like he knew it. Cause having a bed in the attic is not a common thing. Also him entering from the second floor is weird. And i think leaving the clothes looks like a distraction. Why would he leave his jacket including his tshirt as well. The clothes were clean no blood stain. And dna all over the place could be trying to get the attention away from the real killer. Did they ever consider the brother in law next door? Or some other relative? Cause that would explain how he knew where to find family and how he was so confident that no one was coming to the house till morning. There are so many possibilities. But the killer always have a connection with the victim. They always have their paths crossed.
Also it could be not one person doing but 3. Three floor three killer. They could wear same shoes or wear protection for their shoes not to leave a different mark. The handkerchief for the knief could be used to hold the knief better with gloves. It could be three teenagers. One wanted to kill a happy looking family like how it was written on the website. 2 more joined in. One of them must have visited home before. Maybe it wasn’t even his first intrusion to the house. They might have planned. But a killer never kills once isn’t that always like that? Maybe they did kill in a different country. If they do a fingerprint and dna check now they might get a match. Cause now every country checks fingerprints entering to the country
The killer may be 45 years old. The profile of the killer can be determined by the events 45 years ago or what is the best assessment of the killers birth date in S. Korea.
The people who came up with new evidence ended up dead. There is foul play in this case.
I don't like the voice. IA?
It is so sad how the life is so unfair for some of us. Having been abducted for 20 years and being unknown that she is alive or not, it so depressing.😢

I think it's very likely it could be a combination of two of the popular theories. My suspicion is that a teen son of a US service member serving at the Yokota Airbase committed the murder. If his father is a Japanese American it would make sense that his son could be fluent and comfortable in the area. It would explain the sand being present in the fanny pack being from near the airforce base if the teen skates on or around base. The south Korean sneakers could have been purchased during a stay in South Korea at Kunsan or Osan airbase.
L lol lol
The reference to trump and coolaid is absolute bullshit
Well here is my theory on this. I'm gonna say this is 90 percent Serial Killer murder and the individual is a very experienced one. Revenge, Robbery Feud type of murder almost always have a concrete lead that points to someone and dots is easy to connect. This Murder points to a fingerprint not present on any Japanese database which means he is aware of that. Based on data most Serial Killers have high IQ, which enable them continue their murders without them being caught. Serial Killers don't need strong Motive like robbery or revenge to do the killing and the brutality it's the sensation they are after. Which means they don't have any specific target as long as the opportunity arise they will take it. Serial Killers most of the time have done murders multiple times and the experience makes them even more intelligent. *Korean Shoes only sold in Korea *type of sand thats located halfway across the world *Jacket with European origins does this not ring a bell to the police? These evidences are not left there by the killer accidentally it was left there deliberately to throw the investigation into chaos. Which means the police are all dancing to the murderer's beat. The different origin locations of the items will rule out any theory that starts to make sense. The evidences left behind is all part of the killers plan. Serial Killer murders almost always leads to a cold case because the individual is not connected with the family in any form or way. Most of the time Serial Killers only get caught when they made a mistake that expose them.
