OK, So how do the Volume & Tone Controls work when both pickups are selected? If both pickups are selected and I turn the Volume down on the Neck Pickup, will I still have Volume from the Bridge Pickup?

2 broken strings, multiple tutorials, a brief cry because i thought a tuning peg broke (i was turning the wrong one) and what i think was actually the 7 stages of grief later and i've restringed my guitar. thanks for this tutorial, it's super detailed!

Nice vid! Only thing that would have been nice is to explain how the volume and tone work when selector is set to position 2 (both pickups). For example, on my guitar, if i turn the bridge pickup volume to 0, it silences both pickups. But if i turn the bridge pickup down slightly, it just lowers the volume of the bridge pickup slightly. I think the same is true for the tone. It's hard to tell. I have a Les Paul copy (Larry Carlton L7) and wanted to know how it compares to a real Les Paul, since I've never played one. Maybe I should just go to Guitar Center and muck around.

Is it necessery to put something in between bridge and body while I’m adjusting truss road?

Love mine. The extra weight that so many people keep mentioned doesn't make a difference. They are not nearly as firm as people say either. I have tried a few different tempos and different distances. They work well in all areas. They are fast when you want it are comfortable.

Is there a way to do this with a orange micro terror? I dont have the EQs/middle dials.

Hope nobody used WD40 contact. It removes existing lubrication. Can dissolve some plastics too

SPACE IS IMPORTANT. I got gifted a Pedalboard and i have a large Morley Wah which i cant fit on it and makes my pedalboard so small because its my biggest pedal

accually volume is kinde a gain output so maybe volume should stay maxed or at least i recomend it :D but thanks! sudennly my have two lever on it so i need to look for other video still.. :D I know one is swich for signal output and secound one looks like something wich hambucker but i wanna to be sure.

I literally snapped my tremelo bar off my first strat trying to bend it like that hahaha. Before it finally snapped off it stripped so it would dangle instead of holding itself up in place and it was the most annoying thing ever and I see videos online of people whove stripped their tremelo bar to the point it just dangles so this seems like a regular and frequent issue and Im starting to wonder how often most people have to replace their tremelo bars on average. Im trying to find videos of how to properly use one without breaking it or stripping the threading so it loosely dangles like I did. Im getting a squier 40th anniversary Jazzmaster and apparantly they dont make replacement gold tremelo bars for it so the one I get is the one I get if I fuck it up like I did the first one on my strat I'll have to settle for a silver one which looks awful on the lake placid Jaz Aszmaster with gold plated hardware.

Daddario has a set engineered for C tuning. It's 12 - 60. They are huge strings, but they also sound huge.

Waittt so am I measuring from the g string saddle on the bridge to the nut? Because for intonation I’m not sure where to measure from

The three pickups are all the same pickup and if wound to similar impedence, nterchangeable without changing the tone. The neck/middle/bridge sound comes from the node in the harmonic scale under which it is placed. Swap locations with the neck and bridge pickup.and they will each sound just like the other did before the swich...very little difference if any at all. A Strat pickup is a Strat pickup and will sound like it should regardless of where it is insatalled.. Underwound or overwound does not affect the character of voice in bridge , middle, or neck terms, only strength of signal. If one is wound hotter,, its location should be where you want the hotter output level,.

We tried it on my cousins lolos amp it was only clean tone no distirion we couldnt hear any difference

On a drop c, the treble strings are not sooo relevant. The most important thing is the bass strings. Which should probably not be 56, but 62 or 64
