That's so exciting! I'm so in love with the Midori planner this year, I think I might break it out for a setup later today. Please share your thoughts and ideas as we progress through the year. I'm slightly afraid I might like this more than my Hobonichi planners. . :P
@@eternalflamebykatie my intention is to use as an all encompassing mental health/self care check-in journal. Yellow is my favorite color so looking at it really brings me joy. And not to mention I'm a dog person. I'm with you on liking it more than the Hobonichi planners. My weeks planners are functional. Still a little decorated but functional. I bought a cousin for the first time this year and I may sell it. The A6 is perfect for me to do something a little creative each day. Right now I feel a little overwhelmed by the cousin and I'm going to sit on till December and then decide.
I love love love Midori products! Every year I get the puppy ring desk calendar, remove the "stand" part, and use an Oli clip to keep it on the metal strip on my wall above my desk. It's so convenient to grab and make a notation.

I have never seen the puppy planner and it is so cute!! So much Japanese stationery has cats…and I’m a dog person. I used to only ever have big dogs, but one day I rescued a stray who was a little Chihuahua mix (cutest little guy ever, we had him for 15 beautiful years) and I never liked small dogs cause they were “yappy ankle biters.” Wrong! Small dogs are what you want your cat to be…they actually like you, want you to pet them, and they go potty outside. So, three cheers for small dogs! The handwriting font is just lovely and the drawings are so cute….but a horizontal weekly is a hard no for me, unfortunately. I just can’t “see” the week in horizontal, it has to be vertical. I need that memo block, that is amazing!!!
Oh my goodness, thanks so much for sharing! I love all my furry animals, donkeys included! My husband had a bad chihuahua ex experience and hasn’t loved them since. I’m pretty sure our Bailey (10yr) is a chihuahua mix! But he’s in denial. I completely agree with Japanese stationery usually focusing on cats! Hope you love the memo pad. It’s def one of my faves for 2024/2025. ❤️

The desk planner has a Gantt chart on the back. It's used for visualising time blocks in project management. Each line is a task in a project and you can mark how long the task takes and when it's scheduled.
Thanks so much for sharing. The funny thing is we use Gantt charts all the time at work! Man if I tracked my farm tasks using this spread, I’d never close anything out! 😂
