    There is no right or wrong answer to this. It will depend on your situation and the original design of your car and its engine. For example, I have a 70 Nova with a crate 350 engine in it. That engine has provisions to have emissions on it, it has an EGR port in the head. I’ve run it both ways and it runs best with ported vacuum. Now, if the car has an original 350 from the factory in 1970, that particular motor would have had a modulated ported vacuum advance setup controlled by a solenoid. So in essence, it was like ported vacuum.

  • @MoparDonny
    @MoparDonny 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Since this video has been made, you think he knows how the system actually works yet? You “can” set things up to run on manifold vacuum, but not usually. Ported Vacuum IS the correct setup. Try both ways and notice the difference

    another good reason to have an old tractor, if it's cut slightly they'll run on old gas just fine, albeit usually a little more smokey than usual. if it's really bad, a can of Seafoam in the mix too. Not as sure about older automotive vehicles, but the old tractors don't really care what it is, so long as it's at very least combustible.

    If you got an old tractor just dump it in there, it'll burn. Thats what i do. You could also put it in a metal container with an open top and throw a lit match at it. Be careful because stale gas lights very quickly, honestly seems a lot more volatile than fresh gas.
