Hi Ian Monsoon sheilds are over each window so rain doesn't enter when down a small amount. We got the underbody protection from Australia, custom off-road. We have had an issue with a sensor and our DPF, only when towing, very frustrating as the service department cannot seem to fix the issue. That is ongoing but other than that a brilliant vehicle

I have an issue with the DPF light coming on, only when towing, which is why I'm actually selling it back to the dealer, they cannot stop it from happening which is a real shame as we love this vehicle

20" rims with a 30° offset I think, my vehicle review video covers this well

Hi, great vehicle, just some DPF issues of late but it's not the DPF itself, still under investigation. Must be a sensor, had the O² sensor replaced and so far so good

@justinaylward7470 congratulations! Love ours, had 3 years now and still impressed with all those features. I added an aftermarket android auto box to my D90, got a video on that too. That was the one aftermarket accessory I wish I had got sooner!

About 1.8T, we load the D90 with family of 6, two dogs, 4 bikes on the roof racks and it handles the weight easy, the 8 speed gearbox and the power work very well. It's a got a good 4x4 system, low range and rear diff lock. Does well off road but it has a long wheel base and the running boards can get caught on objects

Yes I do, it's a great vehicle for space and comfort.

No problem, away on holiday with our D90 right now, still a great vehicle

Also, the brakes have a squeaky sounds

Not sure about these issues, the D90 has no engine breaking so if you change down it only revs without the result of slowing the vehicle, you must use the breaks. Start stop doesn't work if the aircon is on therefore it never works but when it does there is no delay. Squeaking breaks would be something you would get checked, I've not had sqeaky breaks

The start/stop feature is completely pointless in any vehicle. The fact it doesn't work often i consider a benefit. The fuel savings are negligible and you need a bigger battery with cars that have it

It does have a lot more power and more fuel efficient, but the main comparison if you need the 7 seats is that it's far roomier all round but especially that 3rd row, we did look at the Pajero Sport.

Yeah it is, the whole of NZ is really however, especially the southern Alps

@@RadRoadAdventures How is the LDV 90 holding up? Reading many bad reviews about them but seems yours has been fine.

All good except for an ongoing issue with the DPF light coming on while towing and a couple of hours down the road. It doesn't break down but I've had enough of this one issue which is why I'm selling it back to the yard soon

It was a shame how rough it was. The road further north got very steep, that's for sure. We may go back there another time if we thought the conditions were better.

we got a few places on the list we'd like to go back to in good weather, hopefully it works out... Not fun when the weather isn't nice, especially wind. @@RadRoadAdventures

Logging trucks do the road all the time 😉 Right now, there are a few corrigations, but the roads in okay condition

I think a few corners are narrow, and you wouldn't want to meet another vehicle on those parts, other than that I found the drive in quite easy

I had an initial few issues, very minor and not mechanical, just some calibration issues and a faulty sensor. Now these have been resolved I have had trouble free motoring. We today have just towed our caravan 250km in comfort, the D90 went very well
