There are so many great dentists in Istanbul (let alone Turkey), we wanted people to do their homework rather than just accepting a name given by some random person on TH-cam.

Nice. Makes you think about the reasons their dental/medical care can cost so much less. (Costs of insurance for the Doctor, overhead, local cost of living etc.). Glad you are able to take advantage of it. Thanks for sharing.

Doesn't it just? Unfortunately as citizens living in a sue-happy culture, that is part of the cost we pay.

Oh my ! How cheap. Makes one want to combine a dental visit and vacation all in one. Even the routine cleaning is cheap. But what impressed me the most was $450 for an implant, here $3,000

I know! I'm thinking of fitting it into our future travels somehow ... since you have part 1 done then come back 3 months later for part 2, it takes a little planning, but we could make it work!

I’m in the process of getting an implant right now. They have placed the post in my jaw and that cost $3,500 CAD. I still have to get the actual implant done which is estimated to be an additional $1,500. 🤑. I should have gone to Turkey!

Ouch, that hurts (both physically and financially!).
That is why we did the video, we were just amazed at not only the quality of the dentists and dental practices, but also the prices too compared to what we were used to in the US!

I’d call that job security. Eat baklava before you go Get an exam… 😂

That was no mistake the sweet shop location. The dentist advocates repeat customers.
