Which focus area best for wedding group photos

As to use for wedding which lens would you prefer. I'm confused which one to choose, can you suggest for me without the weight difference. About the overall performance

My A7 IV has problems with the lens/focus settings. Occasionally while using it, it suddenly chooses to be an idiot and no longer "sense the camera lens" so all focus options are grayed out and stuck on "manual focus" (manually focusing with the lens during this time does not even work.. its as if the lens Is not even there.) And there is NO explanation for it, I hardly find anyone with the same issues so I don't see a way to fix it. I am so annoyed. I've brought it to a local Sony repairs shop but they could not recreate the issue because it was gone when I brought it. It comes and goes at random and it is extremely stupid.. any ideas?

How do you track with expand flexible spot on Sony A7III? Or it doesn't have that option?

I have a moonlander and have been considering the voyager for my next keyboard purchase. However, I hate the texture of the stock keycaps on the moonlander. They feel like chalkboard and are specially annoying when you have dry hands. Can you tell me if the voyager has similar keycaps? I haven't been able to find details about the keycaps to determine if I'll need to replace the keycaps or not.

what setting would you use for a podcast 2 people in the same shot? when i had my sony a6400 i was experience focus breathing and it was going in and out of focus. Any tips?

we don't see them traveling, we only see the box (Voyager).

This man doesn't know shut about telling you what TV to buy..If you don't believe me just got look at quantum FDA channel and see the diferance on what he says and shows on his FDA.For example look at the samsung s90 d vs LG g4 video of quantum's compared to HIV.Get real educated info not just a youtube giving opinions without even calibrating .

Does the lens compensation and breathing compensation work with 3rd party lenses?

If you have two people by each other like in your video but not on the same focal plane, is it possible to have both people in focus using the wide setting with your aperture stopped down to say f8.

Great explanations but I still can't activate the distortion compensation on my Sony A IV mounted with the Sony FE 24-105 f4 G OSS. When I click on it (distortion compensation), it says this function can't be activated...

So it’s $10 and it’s not as good as free Blackmagic App. Plus I can’t shoot video in Cinematic mode like iPhone native camera app. I rather wait for Apple Final Cut camera.

The one thing BMC needs to add is the ability to burn in LUTS after the fact. Actually, I'd like a little simple app that was just a color grade utility for Apple Log. Not as complicated as DaVinci Resolve, but something to easily modify the looks and apply LUTS (and perhaps de-Squeeze Anamorphic footage).

Good review of the app in its early days. One thing - when holding the phone vertically and shooting horizontal videos in the BMC app - it’s taking a horizontal crop of the vertically oriented sensor. That means the video recorded will be of lower quality. Read the info on the Black Magic web site. There is no way the sensor can be stretched in order to deliver the same pixel density when making a horizontal crop of a vertically oriented sensor.

Well. The darn app crashes constantly. Can’t rely on it for anything important. Perhaps beta test before charging for it. iPhone 15 Promax here on latest iOS.

In order for that type of usage, there would have to be square image sensors on the phone, not rectangle or your resolution would vary. The Horizon App dose that though.

I took a guess before you mentioned that it was your iPhone text size. If you add the Text Size button to your Control Centre, when you pull down while in Kino, tap and hold the Text Size in control centre and you'll see you have the option of reducing the size ONLY for that app. I use this on many apps such as Discord to enlarge when too small etc
