Per the discussion on Dispensations I would add we are not to live according to future epochs, too. You said correctly about the past epochs. Prime example given in the store of the snake handlers trying to live by the household rules for a future epoch. Furthermore, Children obey your parents…ah, this charge pertains to as you mentioned per your household (epoch) not another.

Someone needs to edit the commercial in the middle of this lesson better. It says right now that Paul's teaching about Christ being the head of the body is heresy. It was edited improperly.

Thank you Pastor Kevin Vey Good Study. Praise God. Presenting the KJV verses in a paragraph format lends itself more to a paraphrase version and not the KJV. It would be more edifying to see the verses separately to grasp the impact of them. John 17:17 is a good example of this in this study. May it bring Glory to the Father through Jesus Christ the Son. (Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused) Brethren DLM...I'm a 92 yr of Christianity! And I have NEVER seen a Pastor; to teach us that; is this Hard. In may case: it took me 18 yrs...to understand these "144,000" Men*. Of course, there are untold Beliefs in the World. But I prayed to Jesus. And asked Him, to give me "Wisdom, Understand and the Truth!" And I believe I know who are the 144,000 Men! Please read of these verses... Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of "three" witnesses, shall the matter be established. Matthew 24:14 And "this Gospel" of the kingdom shall be preached in "all" the world for a "witness" unto "all nations"; and then shall the end shall come. Now notice of this Brethren...Jesus WANTS His Gospel preached. And NO others, Except 144,000 me. in the "Great Tribulation". Thus, those numbers: are Titled "2 Witnesses". Remember, God said it MUST be 2. But, it could be of 3. That tells me; it could be ANY number, except! Then they are "Sealed". But they are NOT in the 7 Seals.And Jesus WANT His Gospel. As for going to the movies; It is true that Holywood is corrupt. If a Christian goes to the movies, or watches things at home, then they must choose those movies that does not glorify ungodly living. One must not watch a movie that promotes things that God hates. We are bought with a price. We are to glorify God, not glorifying sinful actions. Scripture says to do everything in word or in deed in the name of Christ. Colossians 3:17

Those who were alive during the time Paul was preaching had been raised in pagan worship. This worship involved the sacrifice and the the eating of animals that were offered to pagan gods. When they heard the gospel and received it, they were afraid to get meat from the local market. It was due to the fact that extra meat that had been sacrificed to gods was sold. They didn't want to eat meat that was sacrificed to idols. Paul knew that the idol was nothing and prayer to God would sanctify the meat. They were convicted and so would not eat it. Paul said that rather than cause a problem with that weak brother, he would also not eat meat around that brother. People today are vegetarian or vegan for different reasons. Alot aren't even believers.

Pastor Kevin, This message was so powerful to me I still have tears falling. The Lord made me whole this year and healed my body from cancer. I knew the day he healed me. He lifted me up and placed me into a different place, I instantly knew I was healed. The peace, the profound peace He gave me has been wonderfully over whelming. Everything is made new, the sky was bluer, the trees and flowers more beautiful than I had ever seen before, the birds sang louder and seemed to follow me on my daily walks. Rabbit’s beautiful sweet faced rabbits sat and looked me square in eye, squirrels seemed to walk along my way rather than run…..I know it seems like I speak of a scene from a animated Disney movie but this is the power of being made new and healed from our Lord Jesus Christ. I had to have a following surgery after the healing which left a large open wound on my leg that the doctors were telling me I would need yet another surgery with a plastic surgeon to close. The Lord showed me in a vision/dream of my leg wound totally healed. I reassured the doctors that another surgery would not be needed. They disagreed but we’re shocked weekly how fast the wound was healing. Literally stating they had not seen a wound of this size heal this fast. Weekly in their office I gave God the glory so they could witness the mighty healing hand of the Lord. My wound is healed. I am cancer free. I am a daughter of Christ. Glory be to my Heavenly Father. Thank you Kevin for this mighty sermon. Do you know the name of that painting that saw of the healed women touching His garment?

Tomorrow is my last day before my retirement from a 20 years career. This was a second career and I am now seventy years old. The Lords timing is always perfect. As I been following Kevin’s lessons for a long time this was the message that was next for today. A perfect message my heart and soul needed today. The Lord has always been so faithful and true. I pray what ever he has for my hands to do in the time I have left here on earth, until I meet my savior face to face, let it all bring honor and glory to Him.
