Breaking Bad: Anna Gunn | A difficult scene in "Ozymandias"
Another of the most intense scenes and difficult to film in the show.

One of the best scenes in the show. Do you think this version is better than the original?

I would have liked to see Skyler in BCS as a cameo, It's a shame that people without a social life who repudiate it without reason have not made it possible.
she was so good that I honestly forget skyler was just a character. when they cut and she snaps back to reality I'm genuinely taken aback, I need a few seconds to understand what happened.
Her voice still hasn't recovered
I really never understood why people hated Skylar (don’t get me started on the imbeciles who sent death threats to the actress). She is bad because she doesn’t support his egoistical, mass murderer, drug-dealing, manipulative, self-destructive husband? “bUt ShE chEated oN hIm” Yeah and he lied to her countless times, manipulated her into doing his dirty work and somehow she is still a bad person?
Can someone please hug Aaron??🥺
Wonder what it was like to live on that street while they were filming have to stay in their homes entire day they were shooting. I suppose they had to pay all the neighbors money to deal with it, and after the show was over fans stopping by throwing pizza's on the roof.
I love how director Rian Johnson immediately runs over to her to comfort her after each take. I also love how the final edit is just her falling to her knees, unable to vocalize anything at all.
Rian Johnson, the man.
I see. So Jesse misses Walt's wife. Mhmmm
My mom would get in het brand new ford and drive behind me …
Wild shot in the dark here, but anyone the camera type at 2:39? Its absolutely incredible.
It's crazy watching her face even before she has her jacket off. Just in the zone.
What a cry baby attention seeker. Poor thing you have to act and get paid millions.
This woman is a FANTASTIC actress. I don't like her character so much, but Gunn's acting was perfect. In fact, I think it was BECAUSE of her amazing acting that most people disliked Skyler. Her character was SUPPOSED to be disliked for most of the show while we, the watchers, rooted for the criminals.
Hating so much her character means you really love the actress, dam how she change faces and emotions so fast
How can anybody throw hate on Skyler? Dude, she was amazingly strong for holding everything in her and putting up with everything Walt did to her. I could feel only sorry for this woman that did everything she could for her children.
Happy birthday scene:
i dont get why Anna gets hate. she’s easily top 4 actors, her, Walt, Gus, and Jessie’s actors
Angry incels that hate women
Masturbait
This scene instantly turned me against Walt. I was disgusted by him 😮
"bitch" as Anna Gunn's prespective
Imagine what it would have been like if the truck hit the car & it didn't move. Just... "Cut! Well... That didn't work, at least the pizza made it to the roof."
I'm confused how is this the last scene?
even behind the scenes walt took the baby so rutheless !
That final take was great…
not convincing enough.
Imagine being the neighbors of that house at that time
Best show EVER
*This scene is very under rated in my opinion*
Hated her in the show but a good actress to be hated
kissed your wife this is why your so white
Jesse says it 72 times, while he says bitch only 55 times
Beautiful.
Ozymandias was one of the hardest episodes to watch and I say that with praise because the events that took place was so intense to watch. Especially coming off of a binge watch for the very first time
Si dan ganas de llorar alv
After like 30 seconds it just starts sounding like Korean😭 “Missuwhi”
She killed this role FUCK the haters
That scene put a lump in throat for sure. She knocked that out of the park
It may sound obvious to state that Actors seem like the most pretentious professionals out there, given that is literally their job, but I think actors are more pretentious than they need to be about their work.
Imagine, the girl who played Holly has got to be at least 15 years old by now. This show has been on a long time, it's still one of my favorites
Unless you mean baby Mo, the favourite. Holly is played by a bunch of different babies, some of them male early on. They weren’t allowed to have a baby on set for more than 10-20 minutes so they were constantly switching them out. Every season since holly doesn’t get much older they had to get new babies too. Since production takes years, holly would’ve been going to primary/elementary school by the time the show ended if they kept the same baby.
@@yonneye2427 yeah I didn't really think about that
If you hate a character that is like one of the most innocent in a show thats full of guilty characters, that means they did an amazing job both playing and writing that character.
god i love this show
This is really hard scene for us and the actors. Yeah, we've seen bloopers. I like how they say: "The more serious the show, the funnier it was to make it". But mostly tragic scenes are also tragic to the actors. And this works for all kinds of scenes. If scene is funny, actors laugh as much as their characters do. If scene is scary or tense, actors worry and being afraid as their characters do. If scene is tragic, actors put all their tears to show us, how bad their characters feel themselves right in the moment.
All I know is that she made me cry.
How did Riann go from directing one of the greatest tv episodes in history to screwing up Star Wars?
People forget that "directing" involves dealing with method actors that can operate on very prolonged emotionally vulnerable states. Even many professional directors forget that directing involves dealing with actors and thing its just trying to get across a vision or that "perfect shot". Stanley Kubrick comes to mind for me there. Absolute visionary but by most accounts didn't belong anywhere near actual actors. Before I realized that it really wasn't for me, I did a 2 year long film course with a production company and you'd just very frequently hear from a floor or two down actors screaming during exercises but they sounded more like psych ward therapy sessions. Just a whole bunch of strange noises. That whole field was too scary for me so I went into video editing, behind the safety of a computer screen. Method acting is scary, and I also don't want to really romanticize it either. Not everyone comes out of that ordeal still their "normal" selves. I think it's also important to not discourage actors that do not do "method". There are other viable options.
amazing scene, i just can't unsee the sleeve pull lol
Its so hard to seperate an amazing actor from an awful character. I dont think she gets enough credit, hell even when i was watching it the first time i hated her because of her character. (Please forgive me lol, i was like 15 😂) Edit: I mean awful character as in the characters traits not the writing.
Who is the guy helping her get through the scene please?
it’s crazy how much i admire anna gunn compared to skyler (birthday scene still haunts me)
anna is such a great actress
