Hey man, good question. I'll be honest with you, there is a ton of single player content to bite you teeth into. However if you want to play online ranked or kasual matches it will take a bit of practice and learning otherwise you will most likely get stomped and not enjoy it so much. Single player, has a great story mode to play through. You can just watch the whole thing on TH-cam now but it's still fun to play. You have invasion mode to play though, which can be fun and boring lol, but plenty of matches to be had for practice on getting a feel for movement and combos. The training / tutorial mode is decent it tells you what you need to know and how to play. But you'll still have to actually learn about frame data, which for new players is probably the most confusing part. The gameplay is tricky to learn as for as movement and combo timing, at least it was a little weird for me after playing SF6, very different style. Learning a fighting game is a tough task not going to lie, though it is one the most rewarding experiences in gaming. When you finally understand how to read others and mix people up get in their heads. It just takes a lot of practice. So yeah if really want to get into it you'll have to study and learn your character(s) first and foremost, then you'll start learning other characters combo strings and when to block high / low and then your best possible option to punish after a you blocked a hit. The best way to get this experience is to study videos of others playing and just playing yourself. Losing and learning from your mistakes and why you lost is part of the game. Final note. Mk1 is a lot of fun one of the better mortal kombats in the franchise. It does have some technical issues but it sounds like Netherealm is addressing these issues so hopefully the game only continue to improve. If you're a fan of the series and just want to have fun it's a good time to jump in. It's a lot of fun with friends too. Oh yeah as a side note DO NOT buy MK1 on PC or Switch. Switch version is complete trash if you haven't heard yet, and pc has a lot of performance issues. I bought it originally on steam and just under 2 hours of playing and adjusting settings my 3080 couldn't keep a constant 60 fps, had to get a refund and bought it on ps5 because it was just not realistically playable on PC sadly. Plus there's no cross play right now so PC player base is significantly smaller than ps5

@Zerback <3 lol thanks. I don't think smoke is all that good though he's very unsafe on a lot. His forward 3? The lunging double or triple kicks is really rough to deal with

My guy I've been waiting over a decade for baraka to be viable and important, I've been maining him since mk2 so I can't wait to get my combos down and terrorize online lol whatever the best loadout is will be used.

Oooooo yeah it does..

actually that was the quickest path to get to that point since all the other doors leading into the building were locked. Since the Ai doesn't auto jump during its pathfinding, instead of jumping off a ledge around the corner that I used to get in the first place, the game took the quickest path it could find which was going threw the sewer up and out of a prison and back up threw the secret entrance into the building. I was actually pretty impressed after I thought about it lol.

Sadly I could not find a way to save my self from this, I had to reload my save file too

and is there any way of stopping this happen? I always get one when I click a specific corpse with any character, I have saves so I could just skip that but its really annoying because that content is blocked

If you still play and have not found a solution, you can change characters, and just shove them away until they can no longer speak with them. it should take 3-4 shoves.

With F5 you can quicksave while in Dialogue, then just reload and the dialogue should run properly and finish
