Which one did you order? Glacier or the frostbite? I personally like the glacier better for regular printing, and if you print articulated dragons I prefer frostbite and do not use brim on frostbite, you will have a hard time removing it. And yes, there’s huge different in adhesion comparing with Bambu build plate. Best plate I ever used.
@ I went with the frostbite. I’ve got an A1, chances are it’s never really going to see PLA or PETG. Good looking out on the brim omission - I would have done it out of habit.
@@jw3dforge Dude... I've been having trouble with a print that's 230mm x 230mm flat to the plate. I just woke up to one of those big panels all done, perfectly printed. Granted, it started to warp as the plate cooled when the print was done and the plate was flimsy enough to actually come up off the magnets in two corners... But the print had cooled to a safe spot by then. I'm a believer
You can print some clips to secure the build plate btw.
If you can do this, why is there an ams hub? Like whats spcial about it?

No weird noise after installation. It’s 5v LED so the operating temp is only 30-50c and withstand temp up to 85c.
Nice light setup, however, the Bambu P1S USB port is 5V, but only rated for 1.5A. The lights shown are rated at 2.0A, but since an LED strip typically actually draws under 1A, they'll likely be safe to us. Question: since this LED has a switch, one has to turn them on each time, right? It would be nice if they just came on when the printer is turned on.
You mean like switching on/off the printer from the back? If that’s the case, the led light will turn on when you switch on the printer. Unless you turn it off with the led switch.
By the way, I just tested with a USB meter, it’s reading 4.7v 1.2A, and another one 5v 1A. I’ll post another video on the LED mod to sync with Stock LED light. Which means you can remote control it on the app.

Thanks JW 3D Forge!!! I was able to unstick my poop shoot thanks to your video and mine started working less the tape. I will keep this in mind if it ever happens again I'll use this trick. I liked the wiper mod too, going to search for how to change that stupid roller thing out that does nothing for wiping the nozzle.
can you make a video with the just the adapter and external spool and how that works?
I dont understand why that blocker is even there in the first place
The blocker is there for the filament to be able to ball up. If the filament wasn't able to ball up it would just be strings and they wouldn't fall out properly.

Is there more than one USB port inside the printer? If you have two lights you need two ports correct?
The one in the video only required 1 usb port
If you click the link in the description for the light, you can see that they link together with a cable so only require one power source

Not to be a broken record being that there are 3 other comments already, where can we get the stl or 3mf files for this print? I actually just printed another model with the same idea (for myself) and of course right as I finish it I stumble across your video with a model I like way better.
What filament are you using?
Mix brand, it’s very hard find all the colors in one brand. But I find matte color is best for this kind of application. I love to use 3DhoJor amzn.to/4h1aRoc
