Nice light setup, however, the Bambu P1S USB port is 5V, but only rated for 1.5A. The lights shown are rated at 2.0A, but since an LED strip typically actually draws under 1A, they'll likely be safe to us. Question: since this LED has a switch, one has to turn them on each time, right? It would be nice if they just came on when the printer is turned on.
You mean like switching on/off the printer from the back? If that’s the case, the led light will turn on when you switch on the printer. Unless you turn it off with the led switch.
By the way, I just tested with a USB meter, it’s reading 4.7v 1.2A, and another one 5v 1A. I’ll post another video on the LED mod to sync with Stock LED light. Which means you can remote control it on the app.
Thanks for posting. I put this on my P1S but I was too paranoid to plug it into the onboard USB so I routed wires out the back using a short riser. I also made clips to angle the bars downward a bit.
@@holyloktarw186 The description, on amazon, for the link provided states that they are stick on application. and non of the pictures show clips for me either. Maybe it's country based?
Wow, thanks.
Just placed an order.
I have a question: does it rattle?
Aren't you concern about the temperature inside de P1S ?
No weird noise after installation. It’s 5v LED so the operating temp is only 30-50c and withstand temp up to 85c.

Just got my lights today. They look great! Thanks for the post.
Glad you like them!
Where are you powering this from on a X1C as there is no USB power?

Did the clips come with the lights? I don't see them in the item description. Also, to angle them, did you print a piece or just bend the clips?
If you looked at the product photos, you would have seen them, not to mention the customer photos.

@@nickkynow1 I just received mine and they did come with both clips and stick-on.
ordered, thanks!
Thanks for posting your light upgrade. It works great. I just wish I'd seen it before ordering a Lux that's not here yet :(
Tambien compre la LUX, y ya a pasado un mes y aun no me a llegado 😒
Question was asked 2 weeks ago and still no answer……..your title indicates this is available on the X1C. How is this connected on an X1C?
Is there more than one USB port inside the printer? If you have two lights you need two ports correct?
The one in the video only required 1 usb port
If you click the link in the description for the light, you can see that they link together with a cable so only require one power source
