Posting this Dec 2024 - Canva really needs to step it up! We should be able to lock in elements in designs WITHOUT having to export / import back into Canva. This would be WAY too much work with how much some of us design daily! Canva SHOULD allow us to also lock in the font choice and simply let the customer change the text. THIS PROTECTS OUR DESIGNS. How easy it is to just buy and download someone else's Canva Template (their hard work) and just change up the font and design elements while keeping the layout from someone else's hard work WITHOUT the item being PLR or MRR.... = too easy.

Hi Megan thanks for your help. I have some questions in mind, I made a pdf file containing the link to my template how do I share it to my customers, as a template link as well? And The instruction page that I made, can I share it as template link (because many customers will download it) , and what about Collaboration thing, they have two options : "Only me can access" and "anyone with link....." so which one should I choose? I am super confused, hope you can answer me thanks!
