    Perfect!!! Thank you for the easy, step by step explanation on using Canva to create stickers. Now I just need to learn how to create stickers in Design Space, from scratch. :-)

    Thank you for this video, I was able to correct many mistakes I was doing when trying to make my stickers. However, I was not able to use the erase option on Design Space maybe because of their new update and I still cannot figure out why I have a white circle in the middle of my design and cannot erase. Can you update your video to match the new update? Thanks.

      Oh no! I don't have a Cricut anymore but I uninstalled and then reinstalled Design Space for me to be able to use it and remove everything properly. You may have to do this to be able to get the background remover to work right. Hope this helps!

    How would I go about doing the individual cut stickers? I think you called it diy cutting?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's die cutting. I think you would need to set the material on your Cricut to medium cardstock 80lb in order to individually "die cut" the stickers. Hope this helps!

    I know this is an old video, but I created stickers for my budget planner with canva and when I upload them to cricut it tells me they will print with poor quality. I’m not sure why. Any ideas?

  • @MechanicallyInclinedSprinkler

    i wish you would have included the print and cut of the stickers. I tried before and saw something about registration marks. I don’t know, I’m still learning and everything was cut over comp. Very thorough explanation though, thank you for that.

    So, if I want to sell my design on Etsy, what should I upload? Is the png from Canva okay or should I import into Makerspace?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan

      Great question! You would sell the png from Canva! Hope this helps 👍

    thanks for this video. you make it look so simple. quick question: even if the image says 6.75 x 9.25 is it printing on the whole 8 x 11 sheet? or only half of the 8 x 11 sheet?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome! So it will print on an 8.5 x 11 sheet but your design HAS to be within the 6.75 x 9.25 measurements or else design space will NOT allow you to even print the design. Hope this helps!

    Thanks for this video. The same thing happened to me with the warning message. I did reduce the size, in Cricut, and it squished my images. I don't know how to fix that, unfortunately.

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no! That's so weird... did you make sure to change the width and height of your design? I'm not sure what would cause that unfortunately 🙁

    Can you explain how to make a sticker backing sheet with kiss cut stickers attached? I've heard you can make them in Canva but I can't find a tutorial as to how. Thanks!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can actually make kiss cut stickers using this tutorial. Make your sticker sheet in Canva, save it as a transparent PNG, and upload it into design space. The only thing you would need to do to make them kiss cut instead of die cut (cutting all the way through the paper) is to change the material settings on your Cricut when you go to cut it on a piece of sticker paper. I no longer have a Cricut but I always kept my settings on sticky note when I went to cut kiss cut stickers and it worked out fine.

    We have to print on a printer first ? And then put that in cricut ?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. A cricut just cuts material, it doesn't print. Hope this helps!! :)

    Can I use the canva images and designs of course make them my own by tweaking a bit but Would I be able to make sticker sheets and sell on etsy?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! From what I understand, you can absolutely do this as long as you tweak the Canva elements a bit - aka change the colors, add writing/font to them, etc. Hope this helps!!

    To get the correct dimensions, you need to create your sticker sheet within the inner square/triangle that shows up in Canva when you hover.

    thanks for the informative and detailed video. However when i tried to erase in the uploads, it erased the circle of the sticker too and all i was left with was the text. what should i do?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no! Make sure you're erasing ONLY what you want to delete. I'm not sure what else would cause the whole sticker to be erased. You may want to upload the picture and try again.

    How do you get them to cut once in cricut if you don’t use the Etsy template?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean the blackout thing? If so, I've ordered from Etsy and gotten the blackout thing and it confused me to the point I had to figure out how to create my own stickers and print them using the method from this video. Are you having issues with the blackout files?

    Do I have to flatten them so they cut around the image?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you save the image from Canva and upload it into design space, you don’t need to flatten the image once it’s in design space. It will automatically cut around the stickers

    If you download as a .JPG it shouldn't alter the source sizing.

      @@DoingDigitalWithMegan Hi! were you able to see if saving the canva file as a .JPG made it so that the size 6.75x9.25 wasn't altered in cricut design space? Is it best to save as transparent background to sell sticker sheets on etsy to be used with cricut? Thanks so much for your video!

  • @s0nja

    This video is a little misleading. Where you ended off in design space, if you just print and cut like that you will get one large sheet and one large sticker, not sure if that's what you were going through, but doesn't make a lot of sense to me; the stickers need to be individual... not trying to be a know it all, maybe I'm missing something but...

    Sat through the whole thing and left hanging.....how to actually do the printing and how to then load it to the cricut to cut. Waste of my time. If you don't have the cricut anymore why tell us how to do it......half a job....grrrr PS - I know this is old, but 'watcher beware"
