    How do you compare Greenville to Myrtle Beach? I’m looking to relocate. Both areas are appealing.

    • @RenaldotheRealtor
      @RenaldotheRealtor 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @4mydawgz They are very different cities so it depends on what you're looking for. Myrtle Beach has more tourist based attractions and Greenville has a more balanced economy. Greenville has twice as many people as Myrtle Beach in both the city and the metro area. The way the city is built is quite different too so it's apples and oranges

    I was thinking the same when i was there a couple of years ago. It should be a subway to not destroy downtown. Or close it off and have it as a pedestrian area only where only the tram is allowed to drive through. And then having 2-3 different train systems that go to travelers rest, pickens, clemson, fountain inn, simpsonville, greer and connecting to charlotte airport as well as greenville airport and to charlottes tram system. The rails are there. Its just a matter of building trainstations, promote them and keep them affordable as well as convenient for commuters. In germany where i grew up trams are driving from 5:30am or so until midnight. Rushhour ever 10 minutes and no rush hour every 20 min to 1h. Busses same thing but they run all night. That would be so cool and well progressive. But i would put the tram in the town underneath so its not destroying the flair

    Did Greenville get hit by the Hurricane? What are some natural disasters that occurs in SC?

    • @RenaldotheRealtor
      @RenaldotheRealtor 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Greenville was hit by Helene, which was technically a tropical storm when it got to us. It was devastating because this area doesn't usually have to worry about tropical storms or hurricanes. Since 1851, there have been less than 22 tropical storms, tropical depressions and hurricanes combined that have passed through Greenville county according to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Earthquakes happen periodically in Greenville County, usually in the mountains near the North Carolina border. There are a couple fault lines up there. The quakes are usually too small for anyone to feel even if you are in the mountains when they happen. Wildfires aren't a big risk but they do happen in the forests. 98% of the time it's due to some form of human activity. With the largest one being from someone's camp fire they didn't put out on Pinnacle Mountain in 2016. So natural disasters happen here, but. Not too often and they are rarely devastating

      @@RenaldotheRealtor I moved to Gwinnett county, Georgia. Better schools more diverse and you can make way more money than Greenville. Greenville is raggedy. The schools are horrible. South Carolina schools are 44th in the nation. You're treated like crap because you're African-American you make no money there and everything is high priced and you have to deal with a bunch of Donald Trump. Loving Republicans that are running the whole state into the ground. The healthcare system is god-awful. If you want to make some real money and have a real quality of life for your family, move to Gwinnett county Georgia

      @iceman227288 I'm glad you found a place that is working much better for you! Call me and my family lucky if you want to, but we haven't had the negative experiences you have. Thankfully, no one in my family has major illnesses, but we have been using the healthcare system a lot with smaller issues and with our pregnancy and son's birth. Our experiences have been very good for the most part. When we first moved here, my wife and I secured high paying jobs, and I stayed until I decided to become self-employed. So we haven't had trouble there either. There are a lot of Republicans here, so half the people in the country will hate that, and the other half will love it. But I know my experience won't be the same as everyone else's, so I'm not trying to take anything away from what you went through. We have no problem packing up and moving if that's what's best for our family, but Greenville has been great for us personally.

      @AdamHall3-u6y Yeah Helene's total impact took everyone by surprise! Technically a tropical storm when it hit Greenville, it was a historic amount of damage for this part of the country. Western North Carolina got it the worst unfortunately. Even as far inland as Indiana had downed trees and power outages. Hopefully it was just a once in a lifetime type of storm for Greenville 🤞🏿

    It is so ugly and tacky. Kind of an imitation of Europe with all the proportions wrong. And his facts are wrong too. Furman is NOT the oldest private university in South Carolina. Erskine is. There is NOTHING here that looks like Italy. Was the architect insane? Had the architect ever been to Italy?

    • @RenaldotheRealtor
      @RenaldotheRealtor หลายเดือนก่อน

      Erksine's official website says this, "Erskine College has been characterized by educational excellence, Christian faith, and warm community since our founding in 1839."
