When I had to give my cat a pill, I told the vet, this cat will probably bite me. She said just get that canned spray cheese, or that lickable, squeezable, Tuna CHURU cat treat, and put the pill in it. I thought, nope she doesn't know this cat, he doesn't like cheese or fish flavor foods. Well it worked like a charm! He liked the cheese and the tuna, and so the pills were easy to give him!
@@CraftCollector I’m going shopping today for one or the other of those things!! I get the pill super far into his throat and still he spits it out. He always finds it in things I hide it in but I bet one of those 2 things will work. Thank you. Pam.
@@StitchingBetweenTheLines I sure hope they work for you. The Churu treat I can only find at a pet store. I would just put a little bit on a plate and bury the pill in it.
Your Holiday in a Jar is beautiful! Well worth your “fixes”. I agree with the Prairie Schooler charts-yuck!
💜💜💜
So much pretty stitching. I agree about the reprints of the Prairie Schooler patterns. Holiday in a Bottle is absolutely gorgeous. Cant wait to see what you stitch on for November
Hi Pam, I just managed to catch up on your last four videos as I was a bit behind and not stitching. I was busy with quilting. I think I might try THE WIPGO thing this next year too. I kind of like your idea of working with maybe 25 things that I have because I want to finish 25 in 25. My big pieces which are eight for 80 will be the focus every month. Thanks for theideas. I still have to think it through a bit more, but thanks for the ideas. I love seeing your stitching -the jar with the tree and car and it is absolutely adorable, but I understand your pain with working on it- very fiddly-congrats on the finish because it really is very cute …happy stitching cheers!
Pam, Holiday in a Bottled turned out so nice. I'm sitting here stitching on Prairie Schooler April. I love Prairie Schoolers. I know what you mean about the reprints of the Prairie Schooler charts. Have a good November.
Thanks for sharing ❤
I'm so glad you powered through and finished your Christmas in the Bottle. Glad to see you, take care.
I can hardly wait until December to find out what you will be up to.
I’m in Colorado it was 80 on Monday 39 on Tuesday snow on Wednesday. The hottest weather on record this fall go figure. I just love your videos and have watched you from the beginning. Happy holidays!!
@@tarastyron5996 This weather! Thank you for the kind words. Pam
Hi Pam, yes your Holiday Jar was worth all the trouble!...the backstitching always is worth the trouble...I started my 4th Carolyn Manning ...I am hooked, and I definitely want to keep one going at all times now because there's no way I could do one exclusively. I love so many of them. I couldn't agree more about the Prairie Schooler reprints...total ripoffs..I only break down and get the few that I love...when I find an old copy on cardstock I get it! Happy Stitching❤
Pam, Congratulations on your finish of Holiday in a Bottle done. Whoo Hoo! Those things can just stop all of out progress. I agree that the weather is way out of whack. Happy stitching. Best, K
Pam, I am so excited for your finish of your Christmas in a Bottle piece! I know you were struggling with the pattern. I don't like the modern look where there are not half stitches to make the curves either, so I felt your frustration! So happy you powered through! Looking forward to seeing your reveal of your new starts planned for your WIPGO WIP Growth in late November early December! Dena
You have lost weight!👏
@@gailfisher795 Ahh, thanks. Mainly by accident but I’m not complaining.
enjoy more stitching!
Thanks for the cautionary tale about Madam LaFee😂😂 I just can’t. I’ve got the Nora Ephrons on hold- thanks! 💕💕💕
Always happy to see a new flosstube from you, Pam! Your stitches are going to be beautiful, even if they are not cooperating. I’ll have to check out those two books, thanks for the recommendation. Happy stitching!
Hi Pam! It’s maybe starting to look like fall here in NY (finally)! The Halloween piece by Madame La Fee is very detailed! The lantern looks great, so I’m glad you persevered and re-stitched it so many times. I know you’ll be happy to have Holiday in a Bottle finished! It sure doesn’t look like it would be a complicated design, but apparently it is! I love Carolyn Manning designs - I’d like to start one next year, maybe the Happy Birthday one as it’s so colorful. Enjoy your October!
Loved seeing your Snappers...so cute. I got hooked on Freida McFadden books. When I start one I can't put it down til it's finished. They are psychological thrillers. Soo good! I started with The Teacher now on the Housemaid series. Enjoy your stitching while hubby is gone😅!
I always get excited when I see you have a new video posted. Thanks for sharing
I just can't IMAGINE what friend called you out on Prairie Schoolers LOLOL Your Madame La Fee looks great! Funny about the Snapperlands....I found three of the series in my stash diving last week. Didn't even know I had them LOL
@@loriu4510 I just needed someone to notice my lack of a Prairie Schooler…..however I still haven’t pulled the pattern. I don’t know. So many good options by all the designers. It’s been fun to see people discover the old snappers. I can’t believe it was so long ago.
Beautiful stitching! Funny enough I have both of your books on my bookshelf for some time now and I didn’t get around to read them, although I love all Nora Ephron’s films. Now I will definitely take a moment and plunge into them 😊❤
Enjoyed my visit with you and love the little Snapper Lands ! Thanks , Kim ☀️
💜💜💜
Love your Madame Le Fe. Sorry about your car in the jar. Take care
🐴🐴🐴
Thanks for sharing ❤
Love your flowers. I didn’t know about the snappervilles. Love to panel design and encompassing border. I’m going to search for those patterns. Thank you
Waiting for cooler temps so I’ll stitch more too..still about 90 here in Arkansas! Don’t have many WIPS yet, maybe 6 or 7 ..all thanks to flosstube 🎉
Good to see you. Here i UK i think we had between 7-10 days of summer.😢 How winter in starting its cold, windy fingers🥴. Goodness knows hos many will die this year. The old and frail are not getting any help from our Government, their be in their lovely warm homes with food to eat. Sorry rant. Enjoy your stitching. Take care🤗🇬🇧
@@mrsmiggins6435 Sorry things are going the way they are. Seems like we all have government complaints. Different but the same. Hope your stitching brings you peace. Pam
Hello!
Hi Pam! I always enjoy hearing about your babysitting adventures because I’ve done that too, just a few years ahead of you. My granddaughter started kindergarten this year and I’m in withdrawal from seeing her the two or three days a week I took her to preschool last year. Thanks for the book recommendations too. I’m slowly working my way through the original James Bond books (my son lent them to me). I need a diversion after every one. They sure don’t keep my attention like a modern mystery. Keep plugging away at the car in the jar piece- it’s so pretty. I’m looking forward yo seeing that Caterpillar Cross Stitch Christmas mystery. Looks like fun. See you next month!
💜💜💜
Thank you for the video. My daughter would agree with you about bats, she worked in a building where they were protected so if one fell asleep up in the roof and fell on your desk you had to go find the proper person to come restore it to safety. I love your cross stitching and finishes.
@@mrsbobbinlacer Your poor daughter!!! They are protected, in general, but maybe not from a feisty cat. It’s proof that we can NEVER not have a cat so there’s an upside to our story. Thanks for stopping by. Pam
Hello Pam, your stitching is awesome, I also like your book review I'm on the hunt for Ann Leary the one you showed. BEACHCOMBER is gorgeous.
Pam here. Love your drum ideas. I was laughing with you over Hemingway. I read For Whom The Bell Tolls this year, and liked it. Try it and let me know your thoughts. ❤❤
@@JustKeepStitchin For Whom the Bell Tolls is one I purchased so I will give it a go. I picked up an Amy Tan book this morning because the Earl Hamner Jr one is sort of boring. Interesting but not engrossing. It’s hard to find something after reading several good ones. Nothing lives up. Pam
@@JustKeepStitchin Thought of you today when I watched a brand new flosstuber…..Homemeade on the Ridge. (Incase you’ve run out of new ones to watch.). She focused just on Halloween for her first video. Her creativity was refreshing and her homemade Peanuts Great Pumpkin lawn decor was very impressive.
@@StitchingBetweenTheLines Whoa, over 1000 subs after 1 video a couple days ago...🤔
@@JustKeepStitchin apparently she has a big following on Instagram but not for cross stitch….
I’m sitting here stitching a sleeve on a quilt that will be in an upcoming guild quilt show. Thanks for keeping me company. I always enjoy seeing your projects, getting book tips, and hearing about life in your nutshell.😊
I hope Holiday in a Jar turns out to be less of a problem on the second half of the stitching. It is such a cute piece. Thanks for the book recommendations. I’m currently reading the new John Grisham. I’m not slogging through it like his last book. It’s so nice you get to spend one on one time with your granddaughter. I have great memories of all the time over many years I spent with my grandmother. I was the only grandchild until I was twelve, so I was probably a bit spoiled. 😊
Love your drums. Good to see you again.
😀😀
You are just cracking me up so much today. Life’s too short -guess which project I’m thinking of😂😂If that jar one is going to be mounted way up high on your wall, maybe you can put in black for the tires and white for the snow and call it a day 😉 I love the retro feel of the madam la fee. Bats are only great outside👍 Naked planner society 🙌 but because I can go a month without putting anything in. I wonder if I can find that JOY wooden piece- did you use the called for count to make it fit? If you don’t know offhand, don’t worry- I can measure and figure it out (if I even find the finishing piece). Hearts are hard unless they’re primitive and wonky😂 omg the glass castle might be my fave book
@@ItsOnlyStitching Then I think you’d like Pieces of my Mother.
@@ItsOnlyStitching I forgot about the fabric for the Joy piece. I did use the called for fabric. Wonder of wonders…I actually had some.
Glad to see you and it's cooler than here. Great cross stitch finishes and sorry the car in a jar is a little tough. I had a project that I was fighting with fabric and graph. I shredded the graph and threw out the fabric. Love your small quilts.
I’m so happy to see you again, love your projects and the book recommendations .
Its funny about the bat! One got in our house when i was about 11. It actually got in my mom's hair. Icky! I dislike squirrels. I wont stitch them.☹️
@@darleenbumgardner5179 Your poor mother! However…how lucky are you that you’ve only experienced ONE! I guess it’s part of lake life! Also, it’s the reason we can never not have a cat.
The drums and heart are breathtaking. So very beautiful. Thank you for the book recommendations!
Good to see you again! This summer I kind of fell off the floss tube watching and missed several people I normally watch! It was a very busy summer - a great summer but very busy! See you again in October!
Hello, Pam. I love your Flosstube. I really look forward to seeing your cross stitch pieces. They are just beautiful, and I really appreciate how honest you are when threads don't "go the right way". I am envious of your quilting because I have problems when cutting fabric. My favorite quilts to sew are appliqués and whole cloth quilts. Thanks for your book reviews. I have always been an avid reader, too. I have a suggestion for your reading list. It is by Sonia Purnell. The title is "A Woman of No Importance". It is a true story about the American woman who worked for British Intelligence in WWII setting up the French Resistance. I found it an intriguing read. Keep up the good work and keep the Flosstubes coming!
@@judithbetz8081 Thank you. I will make note of the book.
Pam, How nice to see you again. I am feeling your pain over Holiday in a Bottle. How disappointing. I applaud your fortitude in trying to push through. I love all the finishes you showed. I laughed out loud when you described The Sun Also Rises. I have never read Hemingway, and based on your review, I probably never will. Thanks for introducing me to a couple new-to-me novelists. I am hoping they are on Audible. Happy stitching. Best, K
@@recoveringmonogamousstitch1947 Thanks for the kind words. August was a banner month for books, that’s for sure. I’m finally back on track to reach my reading goal by the end of the year. I hope to get ahead by a book or two soon in case I have another dry spell. Pam
Another enjoyable video. Thank you for making these for us. In pattern keeper, if you touch the 3 lines next to the pattern name you see a list of options. In the "edit legend" I note the two colors that are blended threads and/or if they are 1/2 stitches I make a note there after the color number. I hope this helps.
I love your Christmas window and would like to stitch it what pattern is that so beautiful thank you I love your floss tube Channel
