When I use the JMStudio app on my phone, I get the message that the device is not connected. I can not find anywhere a clear instruction on how to connect the phone to the 3dmakerpro smartgrip, or how to scan this QR code from the JMStudio, which I have installed on my computer. I had checked that my account is correct (Login Email and passwort) , is it important to select the right scanner??? I have 3x from 3JM, is this the reason for this error message??

How the bloody hell did you get the deletion of the turn table surface to work? My scans always take it as part of the scan and will not delete it before or after alignment.

I don't quite understand one thing. ¿Isn't the base used with the shapes so as not to lose tracking? And a black platform?😮😮😮

This really DOESN'T show you how to use the scanner/multi-axis turntable. There is NO instruction as to what the different choices mean, such as what's the difference between the horizontal and vertical entries? What do those numbers mean? If I have a item that fits the turntable diameter, why can't I get a complete scan? How do I fix the notices during scanning of "too close" , etc.???? How about an actual tutorial video please??

Another product rushed into production without any testing it seems. Box contents doesn't even mention the Bluetooth USB Receiver... Hooking this up actually disabled my scanner from the JMStudio, had to reboot to work, except the turn table does not turn or rotate or do anything....and only available in Easy Mode(It is for Table Scans! Hence the turntable!), the option to turn on or off of the Multi-Axis Turntable disappears when selecting TableScan. The instruction booklet doesn't even know a USB Bluetooth receiver was provided... ...1 more day and then I am returning this...Tutorials state it will do a test of itself, it does nothing, has no error messages, just sits there taking up space....

Hey, i am really disappointed with current version of JMColor. GUI has lot of issues like very small and unreadable text and buttons, object movement not working in marker mode. The object created by photogrammetry based on provided pictures is terrible. Same pictures loaded into Agisoft provide excellent results. The alignement of scanned object and photogrammetry object is not working. The misalignment is so obvious even with several marker selected and lot of uniquie surface on the used objects. How can this SW pass the quality control? From my pov far away from beta or alpha status.

This explains a lot, I just got my moose and have been having a heck of a time trying to get a good scan.

Yeah, same here, but don’t expect to get any support from these guys, No customer service, because they don’t have the staff to support their product, you can tell they like to do minimal effort on all aspects of business practices for the scanning community. For example look at this “Training Video” do you actually think you can learn anything from it? the 90 degree usb c cable was missing from my smart grip. i've been waiting 2 weeks for a replacement, but nothing has happened yet. the scale on the smart grip display doesn't move either!

Unpacking ok, poof software out of thin air......missed a huge part of what a tutorial would be....since the QR codes that came with it do not work. No disk, no usb drive with software... Description says "How to scan with..." My PC did not magically install any software, in fact did nothing when plugged in.... Below, yes USB is for power for turn table. Mine has an adjustable trun switch for speed and another switch for direction.

So ugly result 😂

Guys, pay a english speaking person to speak in a step for step tutorial. I got my scanner today and your manuals are a joke, i had to watch tutorials from content creators here to get to know how things work. People are only able to get good results with your euipment, if they know how to use it. You will create many returns of hardware if you cant tell people how to use the equipment in a correct way. Click per click tutorials on youtube are not the way. Make your customers happy, so you sell more and will have less returns. The scanner is a GOOD CATCH for the money, IF your customers understand how to use it. Right now your customers are a bit lost after installing the hard- and software and have to look up tutorials by others. Good Service = Happy customers ;-) I wish you the best of luck with your scanners.

You need a video showing a slow unboxing/connecting and a walk-through of settings/pairing/first scan. These videos are rushed, and the written paperwork does not coherently cover them. Also, beware, the screw that holds the scanner to the mounting plate fell out of mine and was lost within the first few hours.

What the hell type of tutorial is this? It's flipping through everything so fast, you can't make heads or tails of it.

The user experience and interface design for this scanner is absolutely terrible. The help guide built in to JM-studio says to click things that do not exist and uses terms for buttons that are labelled differently to what appear in the software. This video tutorial is woefully inadequate, too fast and no information on possible things that might cause problems. Honestly it is hard to understand how you have created this hardware and software and have put basically NO effort into making it easy to use. I have paid a lot of money for this equipment and in no way is it as user friendly as you pretend it is in videos like these. An utter UI/UX fail. Whoever is in charge of your UI/UX development needs firing because this is straight up preschool levels of effort.
