If you check past videos, you can see why it blew up. You continuously drove over 3k RPM with the oil temperature below 160-200°F and in limp mode, which most likely caused it to spin a bearing. I assume his new car will have the same outcome because he doesn’t seem too bright when it comes to maintenance and proper warm up procedures.
Had limp mode for a valvetronic sensor genius which never limited power also had a sport oil cooler valve which kept temps extremely low on purpose "check past videos" oil was done every 3k miles. Not a single shaving of metal. It's an old bmw limp mode comes on for anything. Stick with your honda pizza boy 🤣
You to fix that low coolant , that TMPS sensor ,that brake light, R/R that disgusting steering wheel,and your trunk keeps saying it open?? Maintenance before Mods..respect your car man .

@DavidBarahonaBMW Ah, I was wondering why mine doesn't sound that good with only downpipe, do you think the brand/price of the DP has impact for the sound how loud or nice will it sound or is it just all same just different material?
@wrohi8847 no if it's catless downpipe they all sound the same there all the same diameters the only difference is the catted and catless and then everything on is all exhaust like resonator and mufflers

I'm sorry not quite understanding. This does not need to be coded to run there's no hyperflash or nothing just plug and play

Just a little key reminder Ik it’s too late but this would help everyone in the future, take the intercooler off with everything still attached this way you know how to properly install the aftermarket parts it makes life 1000x easier I promise

My service light was a valetronic motor issue but the trunk light came on after I tried messing with my trunk bc I locked my keys in the car

Look at your oil filter for shiny at least. The electronics are sensitive as hell on all models and also pull the fan out and see if you can spin it at the crank. I just had an issue with mine (2011 e92 n55 x-drive). Battery got soaked under water (leak) and my water pump stopped working. Changed pump and thermostat and upper radiator hose and pump won't activate the bleed process and says water pump missing. These cars are electrical nightmares. and don't get me started on oil pan gasket and potential pick up tube, rod bearings that I might as well replace while I'm under it.. Fair warning✌

I had this car when I was younger. It broke down all the time. Engine eventually seized with new owner. Junk car. Get rid of it and lease a new bmw if you're gonna stick with them.

Around 158000 miles not sure could of been a bad oil level sensor which gave me false oil level not to sure

I bought both the inlet and outlet. The inlet was a piece of cake nut on the turbo outlet side it was a pita. Also on the outlet part I noticed the outlet of the turbo itself the transition is bottle necked big time in the turbo so it seemed to be over kill for what it was worth.
What was the right gasket for the inlet? Can you please share a link?

No the outlets and inlets come with there own but this was the missing gasket I needed

i struggle to understand how this benefits the engine in any way....great noise though but i wouldnt be surprised if it dies quicker!
It doesn't really benefit it it gives you some more sound and technically it's more efficient to breathe
Did you notice a change in the oil temp ? I would suspect this to be hotter as the air flow is taking in hot air as well from the engine bay with there being no cover for this unit@@DavidBarahonaBMW
No difference but I have a 7.5 inch VRSF intercooler which cools down the Temps tremendously even with this intake even with stock intercooler I didn't see any dips
How you get the turbo inlet in? I cant get it pass the 2nd o ring!
I put a tad of oil on the ring and it slipped in pretty easy. The outlet is the one I had trouble with had to use a crowbar.
Did it click when it went all the way in? Did you have to angle it a certain way or twist it? I have ripped 2 o rings already trying to put it in.
@@desmondhudnall5839 no there's no click you know it goes on when the screw hole aligns with the hole in the block and you can also feel it slip in and bottom out
