Great to find this tutorial. Also, the comedic level of you recommending sharpening pencils with a penknife, whilst having sticking plasters on two fingers was not lost on me. 😅
@Videos By Kevin Some of the most famous works of literature and animation were done with a Blackwing in hand. John Steinbeck and Quincy Jones were particularly fond of them. Snow White and Bambi were first sketched with Blackwings. Hope you enjoy!
That's hilarious. I hear it now that you mentioned it. Funny! I'm going to have to control the urge to lay it on even thicker. In my next video, my friend Boo Boo and I will show you how to steal a pic-a-nic basket. Thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot man, thoroughly enjoyed learning the Miura Fold and the way you went about explaing it! But gosh wonder how Miura chanced upon such a strange folding technique.
Greetings Sulata, It is my understanding that Miura began with a tessellation of hinged parallelograms to conceive and construct his design then adapted that into origami. Thank you for watching, Kevin
You got my thumbs up at just the explanation for dividing into fifths. 👏
Other people: "You can't fold a letter-size piece of paper more than 7 times!"
Kevin: "Hold my Dixon Triconderoga HB2 pencil"
And before the "Well, actually" people step in to ruin the joke, yes, I know that limit refers to folding in half, not accordion-style folds
Thanks for your clever comment, f k. That gave me a good chuckle.
"Work on those straight line folds and they should make those zigzag folds come together for you. " That's how it is with life

Part of me wants to tell you about Blackwing pencils and part of me wants to just be quiet and enjoy the Ticonderoga love.
I had no idea Blackwing pencils were a thing. I just ordered the Audition Pack! Thank you!
