Nice vid! Sounds perfect to me!
Thanks. This is a pretty common fix after PI releases a major update. Good for people to know it's another step that's necessary.
Thank you. I am going to wait a while before installing the 'Lockhart' update .
Same car, same mod. Pretty accurate representation of what it sounds like!
Sounds great. Does anyone drone after the installation? Any regrets about purchasing Borla
Does this exhust showing cheack engine sign ?
You shouldn't get no check engine "Light" from just doing an Axle Back Exhaust, unless you installed it wrong and made a giant exhaust leak, but even that shouldn't set your Check Engine Light.
did you get new gaskets or reuse old ones
@@TannerFredericksen reused the originals
How is the drone?
they said no drone with borla
I remember the original vid. Thanks for the update it sounds great!!
Sounds good
How much did you pay for it and how long ago if you recall. Thanks.
I bought my borla for $965 on ebay 3 months ago, the price will be around that for a new one
@@MikeJohnson-ej4oc Yeah it'll be $950 or so. I did pay less than that. I live 20 miles from where they are made so no shipping, and I know people that work there. The place smells great.... Like fresh welding! I searched for a couple of months before I decided on the Borla. They fit perfect and were a breeze to install too.
Thanks.
Any drone inside the vehicle
@centralfloridaidiotdrivers407 The only droning sound (if you can call it that) is around 3000 RPM and it is a very slight low baritone sound.

Excellent job Could you tight the mount scope in the center of the rig ?
I much prefer to have each leg secured. You could tie something in the middle, but I don't think it needs it. It does not budge. But you could add more if you want. There is no way for the scope to tiip or even shift as it is. I also would not want the only tied only in the middle. I usually have a RASA on it which is heavy. I go slow and easy, but I've never had the legs move once. I made it with the wheels back further so the front wheel won't get light with all Tha counter weights on the back. I have 3 circles painted on my driveway. I put the screws down on vibration pads, and level the buggy and I'm ready for what is usually a very minor Polar Alignment. I made custom inserts for the vibration mounts that are metal so there is no wear from the big bolts when turning to level. If you're making on let me know if I can help you. It's been a while but I still remember most of what I did. I'm fixing to make something to help move my generator.
I’m thinking about getting this. What do you think doing an aftermarket resonator swap along with this would do?
I don't think there is any need to swap the resonator. It sounds really good with the Borla. However I really don't know what the resonator would do.
Wooooooooooooh
If you need reverb for specific percussion sounds within a drum kit, you can define this in the editing menu. This way you save free zones. Usually a single zone for the drums are enough. In case you want to apply more complex behavior, I suggest to use the sampling feature to create custom samples with the effects included.
It is so difficult to figure out.... For me anyway. I usually have to follow someone on a TH-cam video 😂
@@MOKPT3 I may publish a tutorial too, as I found out some useful things myself...

Hello. I am looking for a way to make a dolly of this type for my HEQ5. What is the reason for putting the wheels at the back instead of putting them directly on the rear axle? Thanks for the video!
You want the wheels to have as much distant between them as you can... Within reason. It has to be able to go through doors sometimes. The offset I came up with allows the two rear wheels to be further away from the SOG, and help keep if from wanting to flip. This setup also gives the threaded rod a good place to be to Jack the wheels up off the ground and make the unit completely stable. Let me know if you have any problems or questions and I'll do my best to help. This dolly has been absolutely wonderful we're set up and take down. The images done while using it have been very good as well

@@MOKPT3 And I see a biker too! Dad?
Would you recommend this over the f-sport performance exhaust? Stuck between this and that one 😅
If you mean the F-Sport exhaust that comes on the car, then defiantly the Borla. I had the stock and it is nearly silent. I bought the car new and really wanted to hear something. The card that came with my Borla said that they have 3 levels of loudness available. I might have gone down 1 level. You may have to call them because I only see this option. It may have just been a card they put in every box. When you get around 3000 rpm on up it sounds amazing. This is normal driving in the Lexus IS350 F-Sport with the Borla Type-S axel back exhaust system. This should give a good idea of what it sounds like during normal driving. I left the radio on with low volume because my phone will turn the microphone sensitivity up when everything is quiet. @MOKPT3 I jus bought for myself from summit racing since borla was sold out apparently... wut u mean 3 lvls of loudness? I never saw an option to change
Any drone?
It's in the description, but there are always some low frequency sounds. It is barely audible when just maintaining speed. When you give it just a bit of gas you can start hearing it. Good sounds around 2000 rpm and great to awesome from 3000 rpm on up.

It’s hard to tell from the video but, does it still have that deep buzz sound kind of like the OEM had?
The factory was almost silent. Most of what you heard when getting on it was coming from the radios speakers. There are always some low frequency sounds. It is barely audible when just maintaining speed. When you give it just a bit of gas you can start hearing it. Good sounds around 2000 rpm and great to awesome from 3000 rpm on up.

This is just holding at low and mid RPM then revving it up. Here is a link to my normal driving sound test. In this video I deliberately left the radio barely...barely on because my phone would raise the volume up and make the exhaust sound much louder and low rpms. I do turn the music completely off near the end. Just so you know. I've had a few people fuss. The point of the video was to show you what to expect when driving somewhat normal. th-cam.com/video/EcGhVxqsuD0/w-d-xo.html There is very little drone. There are always some low frequency sounds. It is barely audible when just maintaining speed. When you give it a bit of gas you start to hear it. Good sounds starting a 2000 rpm, and great to awesome from 3000 on up.

There's a similar echo on snares as you showed in video, do you know any settings or tones i could use to get it to sound like that.
That is really a great build! I'm new in welding and transporting the my 9,25" Nexstar Evo to the yard is always a pain. I was looking at scope buggy, but with shipping, customs and VAT it gets pretty expensive if I let it ship to EU. Building the frame I think is ok for me, but not sure how to build the axle's with the wheels. Anyhow, thnaks for the video. Great help and well done!
If you can get the tube and rod with the correct ID and OD that fit together the axels are easy. Measure good and drill the holes in the right place and just take your time. Ask a local shop for help if you need some. That buggy build was when I learned to weld. Never have had any problems. It is a real back saver. When finished shooting for the night I can have everything put up in 10 minutes.
Turn off the music please 🤦🏼♂️ Come on, you're doing a sound review...
