Awesome video buddy!!! Heck I definitely think that some of those old machines like the one you was working on are so much easier to write on than any newer machines out there today for sure!!! The exhaust that you should use are called ram horn exhaust manifolds they came in the older body style trucks and even corvettes!! Now some have a big old flat piece that would stick out the front of the driver side I believe and it was for vehicles with AC!! You don’t need that piece but you can cut it off if you end up buying a older pair and one has it!! You can also buy them from summit racing and if you look around at different places that sell them there is a new one out there that has a bigger inside diameter that can help with getting the exhaust gasses out much faster for engines that have been built without higher compression and stuff!!! Definitely watch out for ones that might be cracked if you are looking for a used set and not wanting to buy a new set!!! I remember 20 years ago that they was kinda hard to find because the passenger side one would end up breaking and people would just go get one used one and replace it!!! They would definitely be just as much as a new set that you can get them for today for!!! I’m pretty sure you can get a new set today for under 150.00$!!! If you are looking for a set and can’t find a set I do have a couple sets that I can sell you if you need them?? Although I do live in Iowa so not exactly sure how much it would cost to ship to your location?? I definitely think you’re best bet would be to just order a new set from summit racing and they do have shipping that if you spend 99.99$ or more shipping is free but not sure if that is out of the United States or not?? Definitely check out summit racing for some!!!

I absolutely love the look of your square body truck for sure!! I’m definitely a really big fan of the 1967-1972 Chevy trucks and the 1969-1972 Chevy blazers!!! My other favorite body style trucks are the square body trucks 1973-1991 and all my trucks are those body styles also except for my 2007 classic body style Duramax with the LBZ engine!! I will only drive Chevys I’m a big fan for sure!!! Oh and your square body trucks color is the exact same color as my 1969 K30 that is in my profile picture that you can see!!! You should build yourself a little boom in the back of the truck bed and then run the cable or chain off of it down to the log that will actually lift the front of the log up and put weight on the back of the truck so you get more traction

I had a 79 same truck as that. Pulled a few trucks out of the ditch with only 2x4 working. It had Detroit lockers. I only pulled out fords lmfao. Never got suck though.

I skid with my 95 gmc and you have to back up to the tree and give it a big yank! Plus’s tacking the branches off makes a big difference. I skid 80 ft fir trees with it. I do have 4x4 lol.

Thats how i do it, but with a 1996 ford f-250 2wd

Why not just cut up tree to put in bed of truck so it is easyer on truck and don't get wood all dirty to cut up ?
