Just wanted to Thank You for your U Tube it was really helpful some great tips👍
0:50 Why the water cannot pass the created air bubble? Isn't the pump strong enough to create differential pressure and push the air further into the radiator?
Shouldn't the plastic inserts (to stop the radiator rattling) be placed onto the brackets before you draw your pencil mark on the bracket? Otherwise the radiator will sit a few millimeters higher than your measurements which could be a problem if you are fixing to existing pipework.
Home owner now has a lovely decorative pencil make about their rad...hehe
Good, but its worth stressing never to use mineral grease on plastic or rubber; I always use silicone grease which doesn't degrade plastic and rubber.
Great job show up 👍👍
Great video. Helped me resolve some issues I was having with my installation and it was all very clearly explained. Thank you.
Very helpful video. Great tips on the correct method of mounting the cistern tank, you saved me a lot of bother. Many thanks!
Trying to copy plumber Dan 😞
Hi and thanks for the comment, I not sure who he is but whoever he is he must be a fellow plumbing LEGEND!
@@NickTaylorPlumbingLtd youtube.com/@plumberparts?si=UNfgJKvu8iswuwZz Not knocking you but I just find him great. He also does these funny American accents and facial expressions. Plumberparts the channel. He was one of the earlier ones on YT I've been following.
Really helpful. If I hadn't watched before I attempted to fit my cistern I think I certainly would have got it wrong !
You forgot to mention cleaning inside of ffitting and always have respirator with map it is a cause of prostate cancer
Why must you turn all the taps on upstairs and downstairs after turning the water off via 'isolation valve/indoor or outdoor stopcock' ? Our kitchen cold water ceramic cartridge has seized up (probably limescale has clogged the mechanism) and won't turn on, so why can't we just turn off the mains stopcock and allow any residual water to drip out as we unscrew the cartridge?
What about taps where they are in the middle of the bath. Does the whole bath have to come out.
Absolutely brilliant crystal clear even the explanation at the end with the diagram:)
Great video, I have a glow worm Ultimate 30c combi boiler, but need to remove 2 radiators so I can plaster the walls. Can i still use my hot water for showers and such(radiators will be removed for a week or so), or would i need to isolate something first? Dave
Superb tutorial. Comfortably the clearest and most comprehensive that I've seen on TH-cam. Great work.
Brilliant video. Many other cistern videos don't cover the detail involved in attaching the thing to the wall. So, i really appreciated the effort you made to explain that part, and more. THANK YOU
I honestly love it when people comment with such positivity! Thank you and glad it helped ❤️
Thank you so much. I love the way you present. Calm, clear and simple. Just what I needed.
Thank you so much for this video, it helped me so much 🫶🏽
No problem at all hope you enjoyed it, thanks for taking the time to write a comment and share some positivity 😁😍
Hi, do you have to turn the water off
This video needs an epilepsy warning.
🤣
Nice job
Day in life of a plumber: tiling. Hate to break it to you but your not a plumber, your a ........ ....handy man. So sorry.
😂😂😂😂😂 thanks mate what a compliment gotta be up there with the funniest I’ve chuckled at 🤪🤣🤣😂😂
No plumbing happened here, just tiling
It’s a series of events keep your eyes peeled 🫣🤣
I find your pipwork undersizing a great receipe for low flow and blockages oh wop woo no service access points, crap
Hi @Antonio, thanks for the comment, we’re all entitled to our opinion and I value yours. All pipework a fall on pipework is to British Standard, all pipework is de-burred and the infrastructure is solid and I’ve never had a problem in all my years. Are you from the USA?
There's plumbers then there's cowboys
😂 which one are you referring to me as 🤣
I fit a load of the vitra concealed cisterns. Got to get the fill and flush pipes spot on. Drawings we work to have them dead centre on the grout lines so they've got to be millimetre perfect. Look pukka but they're fiddly to get screwed to the wall spot on.
That’s nice and neat brother. 👌
Liking this series 👌
Never seen a tray screwed down!???🙄😮
Me neither, first time for me and gotta say I’m actually impressed, keep you eyes peeled for tomorrows video 💪
Akw do a tuff form one that screws down
Nice work mate ❤
Thanks ✌️
Good job!
🥰
Many thanks for your instructive and simple explanation, that was good tutorial
Am I bad for just using solder wire to flux?
Shocking pipework install fella ,have you heard of a level 💩 💩 💩 Think you need to go back to college and start again
What’s your go to tanking system?
I use a combination of them, over the years I’ve found some manufactures supply excellent products but hetjen skimp on some areas 🤫🤫🤫
Brother, we have seen other plumpers on TH-cam. He heard the jokes before. So we did expect you to say that the moment you stsrted fingering that hole.
So simple … but so helpful ❤
Good explanation Nick on drain down and refilling the c/h pipe work system. However, in your process you’ve not put any inhibitor back into the pipe work when filling? How would you do that when filling back? Thanks
You make my day happier
loved ur way 😂😂 thanks
Basin mate, mate
Cracking job 👏
Thank you it’s a beauty! 🤩🥰
Very nice job 👍
Thank you! Cheers! 🥰
Thanks for the video! Seems like many plumbers today are turning to ProPress fittings now and abandoning soldering!
Looking good 👍
🙌 Thanks, will be complete tomorrow 🙌👌🥰
Also what brand shower valve ? Love the work makes me want to get into bathrooms
How does that tap work if there’s two pipes going down but one entry point in the disk? Wont the water just mix? Or is there another external thermostat and the tap handle is just on off which I doubt
plumbing in UK is so different than in canada
No way how so? I want to see! 🤩
That was nice baby!!!
